Have you looked at a map of the globe? There is NO WAY they would have been able to survive on a wooden boat with primitive technology from Britain to NewYork! They would run out of water first.
Thank you so much for talking about Echoes of the Plum Grove! We're so excited to be launching on April 29th this year! Your voice is perfect for narrating our tiny 18th century Hamlet 💜
All it took was his intro to the game to get me to wishlist it! I think y'all might be on to something with the concept. :D Best of luck and I hope y'all have an easy and successful release.
Love this game so far...and your narration. I'm only mad that it's not available already, I want to play it now! You grabbed a sub. Please do continue it when it's available. It was a pleasure watching you play.
I haven't finished watching the video but it is so nice. Sometimes I wasn't sure if you were really just reading the text of it the mayor was synchronised.
Pemmican is dried meat joint together with fat, it was invented by the first nations, previous to the joint Iroquoi confederacy, they'd usually put berries along with the dried meat too. It was used for long journeys or simply as a way to conserve meat for longer. In pre hispanic mesoamerica, the natives used another conservation method called "Charki" where they would pile meat and a whole lot of salt under the sun, tastes quite like Jerky (which sounds like Charki, maybe there's something to this, as the preparation methods are similar). I suppose the first nations also probably knew about the preparation of Charki from the mesoamericans, but honestly, pemmican sounds a lot tastier.
Your voices for the characters. Reminds me of Thomas the tank engine . Especially the old women who’s daughter gets married . Something old , something new , something borrowed and something blue .
my first thought looking at this game. it looks a lot like paper Mario especially those animations. a farming game with these graphics it's fantastic can't wait to get the game and try it out for myself.
Ooohhh I want this game! Also the art reminds me of harvest moon mixed with that one game where you typed a word and it would add things to the game. Can't remember the name.
I’m familiar with Don’t Starve it’s a great game and Paper Mario too. Don’t Starve has a The Addams Family vibe and I love it! 🙂 And after seeing Echoes of Plum Grove being a combination of Stardew Valley and Paper Mario. Even though it’s only a demo it’ll give me something new to look forward to once it comes out for consoles like the Switch and PS4/PS5. 😁
One thing i never got about thease games is that when you get to the farm befor you where there it was one of the best farms in the land they say the owns letlft the tools in the house they are beginer tools
Hey there! Just wanted to drop by and say your gaming channel is like discovering a secret level in a game full of surprises! Been diving into your other RUclips channels about bedtime stories, along with your podcasts, and stumbling upon this new gaming adventure has definitely added an extra level of fun to my playlist. Count me in for the gaming marathon!🎉
Morph is definitely like a cozy blanket in all that he does! I could (and do 🙈) listen to his vids all day while at work and then it switches to readings at night!
I love wholesome channels like his, because not only the videos are cute and cozy, but the comments are always so nice and positive too. Generally just good vibes all round
2:04 Actually, trips from Europe to America would take about 6 months, it wasn't until the invention of the steam powered ship would it decrease to around 6 weeks, and even then, since steam engines were not as developed, some would still chose non-steam ships, because they wouldbe bigger, so the steam ship companies themselves saw to it that speed was the major thing, and with inventions in iron working ships could take that 6 weeks down to 72 hours or a little more, about which time shipping building also switched to iron/steel, which would allow unprecedented (for back then) luxury and travel, even for the third class.
I love finding out about these little games that are tucked away, but I wish Morph put a link in the description so we could easily - and reliably - find the lesser known ones.
I came to the comments for the answer, luckily the developers commented! "Echoes of the Plum Grove." I agree it would be very helpful if it was in the description. Looks like it's not available on Steam yet, there was a Kickstarter and the supporters got Beta keys, so maybe that's how Morph got it.
Yea, I caught the name of it, but sometimes Googling the name of a game doesn't provide reliable links, and I'd like to know that the site I go to is the legitimate site and not some rip-off/scam. Even if said site was just the kickstarter and not necessarily the Steam, Itchio, etc. Y'know what I mean? 😕 Hopefully it'll come to Steam soon! Thank you for the help! 😊
It was in the description and the title of the game was displayed on screen within the first 30 seconds of the video at 0:18 If y’all put as much time into doing your own research and using “Google,” which is free, as you do commenting that you need a link because you can’t be bothered to go look yourself…you would’ve got your answer.
@@Ket246811 Morph added both after their comment. There's a reason their comment had 60 upvotes when they made it. So maybe save the snark next time and "bother" to think a bit about what might be going on.
pemmican is early survival food made of very finely ground dried meats (to a powder) rendered suet and dried fruit it can keep for years and was one of the stapple food for both native Americans and settlers
When my mother had just had emergency surgery I discovered a horribly injured kitten outside my front door. My family was in turmoil already and there I was bringing in this tiny kitten that all my neighbors had ignored, but I couldn’t just leave the lil guy out there to die. I also couldn’t keep him since I already had a cat and he hates other cats, so I kept him in the bathroom with a litter box and food until I could take him to a shelter and get him some help. Lil dude needed his own emergency surgery for sure. So yeah, sometimes we have to help out people or animals that everyone else has ignored, and it’s definitely hard when you have so much else on your plate, but if you don’t do it you’ll likely regret it. Wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I chose not to help him, tho I’m sure my family would’ve preferred that😅
I know that sometimes it feels that there is too much on the table already. But you are absolutely right, good people can't ignore these situations while maintaining a clean conscience. Be proud of yourself, you are one of the good ones ; )
Thank you for making cozy videos. Going through a major loss right now, and in my grief I have lost all sense of time, I can't stay focused on anything, but cozy gaming videos on around me even if my brain insists on dissociating is really helpful and calming, and when I manage to pry my brain back to reality its nice how conversational you are, it sort of feels like being in the room with the most understanding helpful friend, who is happy to carry on the conversation even if I'm fading in and out of a thousand yard stare.
This was soo cute!! I loved that the wedding wasn't something that waited for you to get there to start, it was happening and you could choose to be there or not ☺☺
This is kind of giving me pumpkin panic vibes, but less scary and you’re not a pumpkin you’re a person and you don’t get murdered by creatures you murder other people😮
I once fell into a roaring creek while my family was visiting friends of ours who live on a farm. I got carried through and eventually a family in a neighboring farm found me and rescued me. I woke up in their house surrounded by them not knowing what had happened! Eventually they figured out who I was and my family got me at the end of the day! It was wild. I still don't swim till this day!
28:26 Pemmican from what I can tell is not bread, but (usually) a mixture of dried, ground meat; tallow(fat), and sometimes a bit of crushed cranberries. Its basically the ancient equivalent to MREs. They last for a long time, they're extremely rich in calories and proteins, and they're easy to carry. The one downside is that they are not the healthiest thing to eat, so you'll still get stuff like scurvy on a diet of pure pemmican. The caveat is that pemmican is a global food item, and eventually people started making other forms of it. There's dog pemmican to feed dogs, there's pemmican that has cornmeal and sugar replacing the dried meat, there's ceremonial pemmicans, etc. In case you were wondering, the reason I know so much about pemmicans is because I saw it in a few games and just now looked it up on wikipedia for 5 minutes, so as you can guess I am basically a world expert in it now. You should totally take anything I say without a singular grain of salt.
I loved playing this demo, I'd enjoy seeing you play some more when it releases as I'm interested in what different choices will lead to for different people
I played the demo, and it’s amazing! I love the dress up area and the character customization! Really beautiful- I can’t wait for this to launch. It’s fantastic to discover something original, like this…
"Cor blimey, guv'nor, I'm on a boat!" had me laughing so hard my spouse was worried I was sobbing. Now there's someone who's been in a production or two of Oliver! Your videos have become my settling into an hours long bath (chronic pain, it's the only time I'm not actively in agony) with a drink and a snack accompaniment. You narrate the most relaxing, calm, low-pain, and stress-free moments of my week, and that's no small praise.
I feel you! I was having a lot of anxiety and couldn't sleep and so I came to his channel and found this. I'm so relaxed now and ready to get some good sleep. I love Morphy! Feel better hun!
So glad to see you play this. Long story short, I was found randomly once by an old man laying in the middle of a dirt road in the wilderness. It happens. Will you be making stardew videos when the update comes out?
You should check out noble dates of you haven’t before, it’s a really nice colony since that even gives you some control over your people - it has fantasy species and just updated to have babies/lineages. It’s in early access right now ❤
So cute. I already want to play this game. Sadly, all I can do is wait for it to be available. Also, Pemmican is a type of survival food that lasts for a very long time without refrigeration. It's a calorie-rich mixture of dried meat, animal fat (tallow), and dried berries. It can last on the shelf up to five years.
i absolutely love the paper mario inspired graphics here, it's really unique and has so much charm! i'm glad this popped into my recommends, i'll definitely be picking this up
I like your calm voice and appreciate you narrating stuff so I can multitask and work on my assignments thank you for that also this art style is so cute :D

I love that you also narrate when the characters nod and what you're looking in and such! It is so nice for people that might not be watching/able to watch. It's just a lovely little attection to detail that i really appreciate.
So I never washed up on a beach but I did come to in hospital one time. Also love don't starve and town of Salem. There is a town of Salem 2 now. I think it is free.

"new cozy game" alright, sounds nice...
"murder your rivals" I'm in, let's go.
Same. Nothing cozier than revenge

It looks terrific so far, the animation style is wonderful. And he's so good with character voices I'm going to miss him when I play.
I'm def adding this one to the wish list!
I can’t wait to play this! Just beautiful.
Love the paper mario graphic style of this game
You had me at 'murder'.
Finally a cute comfy game where you can get rid off the annoying characters!
Same 😂
I love when you sing-narrate mundane activities- I feel like you do this the most with simulators, but either way it’s my favorite
The gameplay is very Stardew Valley - esque, which is always a plus in my book. I’ve never seen anything like this art style, it’s adorable!
OH I ADORE THE ART STYLE SO MUCH !
Love this game so far...and your narration. I'm only mad that it's not available already, I want to play it now! You grabbed a sub. Please do continue it when it's available. It was a pleasure watching you play.
This is like playing Sims with the Extreme Violence mod
the art style reminds me of town of salem and i cannot tell u the amount of trauma i have from that game this thankfully seems A LOT cosier though!
Gorgeous game. Loved watching this. Please upload more.
You have a soothing voice. It's great during anxiety
Honeywood? Nice day for fishin’ ain’t it?
Huh huh 😂
Hello Adventurer!
The “I think he’s on roller skates. Weeee” got me 😂
What a great voice - so calming to listen to!
The art style is so Paper Mario and I'm loving it.
I'd love to see more of your journey!
I could just listen to MM talk all day
I haven't finished watching the video but it is so nice.

I think i realised that not to long ago(17) but sometimes I fear it will slip away
my first thought looking at this game. it looks a lot like paper Mario especially those animations. a farming game with these graphics it's fantastic can't wait to get the game and try it out for myself.

In my opinion he sounds like he is narrating a children story book
I don’t usually like games like this but I heard this game involves murderder. I’m in.

Stardew meets paper Mario with a dash of sims for flavor

Pemican is cured meat for survivalists
Would you mind saying, "Oh, bother" in your old lady voice? I feel like that would be very nostalgic.
I want more of this!
Yo! Looks like scribblenaughts!
Welp. Deal has been completed. Time to not eat in protest.
Will it also be available on IOS?
Luna sounds like Pooh Bear and I love it

Thats so real
Your old lady Lowkey sounds like Winnie the Pooh 😂
I read this as soon as it happened 💀
My thoughts exactly 😂
I thought she sounded like the pervert guy from family guy.
The carpenter is Jason Statham
You wanting to trade everything in your inventory for a cat is the most relatable thing I've ever heard.
“She sounds awful sweet for what her face looks like.”
Me: Same, Morph, same.
I almost wish they'd hire you to narrate the game. This is so nice.
It's giving Fisher-Price Little People 🤣🤣
OMG! And Paper Mario on N64!
THIS. 😂made me laugh so hard... spot on!

I'm finally not 5 yrs to late to post on a game play..lol
Just discovered you for the first time. you have quite a relaxing voice to listen too. enjoying your content.
you are amazing and your channel is so comforting! thank you for your hard work 💕
Honeywood..?
Is there a garlic farmer? A shifty blacksmith? A plucky fisherman perhaps?
Wonder if they made the first wedding a same-sex one on purpose because otherwise people might reasonably assume from the setting that same-sex isn't allowed and never even try it. It's a bit anachronistic but sure, why not :D
The second I found out the town is called Honeywood I immediately thought of @vivaladirtleague and I knew danger was inbound.
I really like the art style and the concept is interesting as well. I hope you play a little more, when it got it's full release 😊
Paper Mario x Stardew Valley!
The art style is beautiful. I hope it comes to switch.
Omg its like Paper Mario ^_^ Always loved that style. Highly recommend playing them, super fun, lots of personality!
“Oh is that an old person” *near perfect Winnie the Pooh voice
I am SO looking forward to this game ^^ hope you'll be playing it!
Anyone else immediately think of viva la dirt league when the mayor said the name of the town was called Honeywood?
This video made me play the game and I'm absolutely in love with it! It's such a fun game
You have a very soothing voice, it reminds me of the narrators of the fairytale animations I used to watch when I was little 💕
The voice that you did for Quinton made you sound like you were narrating a wildlife documentary
