Great video! I needed this message right now. I am a chronic over thinker, but I am starting to feel the power of making a decision and then making that decision work for me instead of searching for the perfect solution. As strange as it may sound for creatives like us, I am studying accounting and actually enjoying it. I'm enjoying the sense of control it gives me to be back in school and moving towards a goal. I've questioned my decision at times, but I am deciding to make it work and see where it leads me. It's better than staying stagnant where I've been for the last 4 years. Smoking weed on the daily and scraping by at an emotionally draining dead end job. (special ed teaching assistant)
I really liked the personal story of struggling with living with your parents and moving away. I recently asked my parents if I could move back in and they basically said hell no we're too comfy and don't want you messing up our perfect routine. This was a nice reminder that I would probably slide back into my old self if I moved in with them.
I am lonely out here at times. Especially since I quit weed and lost my stoner friends. But it is a growing pain in service of something greater. Thanks for the video.

If you liked this one I think you’ll really like my video why perfection is an unattainable illusion. It’s very similar vibes to this one and is all about my story of overthinking things and wanting to be perfect.
Im glad you’re figuring something out for yourself though. Having structure is important to force us to be better with our time. I’m glad you are making those changes for yourself! It’s not easy to make big changes like that so give yourself grace to take time and make mistakes along the way. Trust the process. Thanks for watching!
