I've had my set of the Cincotres for a couple of days. My impressions matched yours almost exactly (especially in regard to the comparison with the Quintet). Great all around set.
So good video drop Jay, It's great to see you have more listening experience with endgame stuff like the strom to helps you evaluate diminishing returns of the more affordable budget sets. So far, I like a lot my Pula PA02 however I've noticed that a side grade with a more energetic tuning could be a perfect addition to them. The pula really shines at higher volumes (that's quite a trademark) but is not something I do often (its still a happy endgame set for my needs). On the pa02 the bass is quite muddy (with quantity but lack of technical unlike the performer5 that have more hollographic immersive ability)

Obviously, it depends on personal preferences etc but keen to get any thoughts. I enjoy most genres from foot tapping dance, complex classical... @@jayyaudio thanks! I was leaning that way after hearing your review of the Doscinco. There aren't many reviewers I buy blind based on their reviews. You're one that I do!
Yeah 2024 is nuts thanks to reviewers discoveries and I feel the dual DD attempts are really making qualitative advancements. That 2DD bass presentation might become the next standard.
@@a7i82it depends on what kind of sound signature you like. Trust me, the Conch according to almost all the reviewers can be very siblent, meaning very trebley. You definitely want to pick the tip that reduces the treble. And I'm somebody that normally can take extra treble. And even with picking the tip that reduces the treble the most, it still can be a little bit peaky. The EW200 is way more balanced and can be played significantly louder without it hurting your ear. They both have very good bass for the money. Fairly quick and not muddied with good decay. I would say the conch is definitely a little snappier with bass. And then the conch has just a ton of extras, a decent case, different terminations 2.5 4.4 3.5 for the cable. They're both built extremely well for the money and have a little weight to them and should hold up for years. If I can help in any other way please let me know. Good luck! I hope this helped!!! Erik
And again I'm talking about for the money before anybody jumps down my throat lol if you are comfortable with playing with ear tips, don't even bother with cables. Yes, cables can make a difference but nowhere near as much as the ear tips. Just use the cable that come with whichever Iem you choose .If you use foam ear tips with the Conch and change the tip to the one that has the least treble. Which by the way, the Conch comes with three different tips. And I'm not talking about ear tips. I'm talking about the actual stem that comes off of the earpiece. If you pick the one that has the least treble and use foam tips and or small bore tips, I feel the Conch is Definitely the better bargain. Don't get me wrong. The EW200 is pretty sweet but the Conch is crazy for the money. I'm poor and I bought a couple of sets for my nieces. That's how good it is.
