I really appreciate that tuning your vehicle can make a HUGE difference but we should be able to complete all clubs without spending half an hour over numbers in the tune shop. Especoally for drift events the amount of time and money that needs to be spent needs to be adjusted
The fact CarX as an indie developer being more devoted to their work & maintaining several games at once, while KT Racing STILL refuses to admit their game sucks a$$ is both hilarious and maddening. And lets not forget KT Racing isn't even close to an A-class studio, they got some serious balls to act like they are.

This is my favorite game right now. The physics really suit my style and I'm loving building new cars for the time attacks. It would be amazing if they added cops at some point
@ i don’t really understand why they changed the physics. They were fine already. Since the update, the key in terms of racing has been turning off the steering assists, then it’s back to normal. I’m not a drifter, so i don’t know about that, but maybe try to play with that and see how it feels
the traffic doesn't make sense, because when you're in offline mode you're actually also in a online lobby just with no collision. so they literally have an option to turn it on they just don't
Your problem is you are wanting and claiming it is an arcady racing game when on the scale it actually falls more on the simulation side due to all the things that are taken into account with the physics and the factors that affect the handling. Your expectations are not based on reality, what you want is a braindead simple arcady racing game from a game that just isn't like that. When a game presents an obviously very large tuning section, then one might commonly assume that tuning is a huge factor in getting the car to perform how you want it too. The tuning menu is simple, you simply have to read the words on the screen. If you refuse to read words, you will not understand what's going on. You jump around in a hurry, ignoring the information presented in front of you. Thats why you end up doing races or events that you do not understand.

so basically, you've been playing racing games for years and years and years and still can't handle basic tuning. for drifting, get a welded diff and suspension arm with high steering angle and got to tuning and set the max steering angle so you can hold sicker angles in your drifts.
Complicated menu?! Its the most basic and easiest menu ever. Forza is a joke against that. A 3 year old child knows how to use the menu in carx street.

Oh my god Theo please when you are in the costumisation section always try to go one more slide to the right it said there were 8 bodykits and you always just chose from the 3 you can see! This is not the first time you do that so please please look at the other options
I love the house system in the game, I love how it doesn’t put you in an specific interior to view the cars in the garage, like how you can see the cars in the garage in freeroom and hop in one of them and drive off, I really hope they add an interior for the actual houses as well.
Currently the traffic is only available offline, where the traffic setting comes into play. But Devs have stated that traffic will be available online soon.
One of the biggest thing for me in this game is the sound. I think pretty much all the sound sucks lol It's best as a podcast game or something Also there's like no personality in this game, but I mean I guess I can't fault them for playing it safe like that and it's not the biggest deal when it's all about the racing anyway
To be fair some of the sounds are really good but on the wrong engine. The BR26 sound is a great sound for a VQ powered 350/370Z but incorrect for an RB26 replica
For me, CarX Street is one of the few racing games I actually want to play. I can spend hours just driving around the city; the map is incredible. Plus, you can make the car feel exactly how you want. Tuning is a lot of fun, and it’s interesting to see how each little change affects the car. You can drift or go for maximum grip without any problem (as long as you know how to tune it). You also have to manage your resources, or you’ll end up broke. During the campaign, it’s not a big deal, but once you finish, it’s harder to earn money for buying and experimenting with new tuning setups. That’s really the only “big” downside I see. Honestly, I think it’d be hard to hear criticism about this game because I doubt the reasons would feel valid to me. I think a lot of people don’t even know what they want from a racing game, if it’s missing something, they complain; if it includes something, they complain too. I don’t usually play racing games, but I can say that CarX Street was impressive enough to exceed my expectations.
I like that cars are locked behind the levels AND money cause I want to work my way up to a higher level car rather than SKIPPING ALL the cars because I grinded the money. To me it feels more earned to drive a better car when I had to play through the game to get it. I don't have a HUGE problem with sandbox stuff like Forza Horizon but FH5 was a bit boring cause it didn't feel like I had to earn anything.
i have already reset my career and im playing the game now again. this feels so much better than at launch, now i just gotta try it on my steamdeck and im all good

gt7 has way more detailed tuning but still takes the time to explain it to you on what it does (vaguely). i’m not saying games should always hold your hand but at least gt7 and other games give time to educate you on basics.

Imho saying it is a bad game design just because it lacks information is a bit far fetched. But as far as the interface goes, it is neither a great one. However, considering the price and the target audience, I understand and don't really mind it. Plus, adding the explanations or short tutorials isn't that hard, it's just not their priority atm. And, like others have said, you can easily watch youtube for really helpful tips.

ive tried this game so many times… i ALWAYS end up at a stop. no matter what car i buy, what upgrades, ITS NEVER ENOUGH. they are basically just forcing you to use your real money to buy stuff. this game has nice graphics and somewhat nice feel driving, but the overall grinding, payouts, cost for certain upgrades, AI traffic, its all terrible and extremely irritating, at first i thought to myself maybe im just trash at the game yk, but after deleting and reinstalling this game 5x, i come to the realization that this game is just pathetic, it feels like a 10 year old created this game or something wtf
My biggest tip would be to race in the daily time trials. They payouts are pretty big and the rewards you get are way better than doing the elite races.
they need to focus on optimizing mobile port there is the money,optimize for as many phones and other stuff like giving ppl 60fps or 30 as option and more detail grafics setting

I’ve actually enjoyed the game a lot. TDU Solar Crown was a joke and there hasn’t been the past few years a casual racing games that’s been able to keep my interest. I didn’t particularly like the NFS Unbound, i had some fun playing it but i lost interest in it pretty fast. Didn’t even touch to Forza Motorsport as it was a joke pretending to be built from ground up. This game on the other hand, i’ve somehow been enjoying it. It was cheap to buy, but has been working well for me, exploring the map, doing the events, doing tandems with friends online and just casually driving. The customisation is decent, car list is fine, i mean it could be bigger but then the game is also very cheap so i’m not expecting that much. The physics are also decent and devs actually bring good updates and listens to the feedback… unlike *couch* some aforementioned french studios. 😂
Carx is great. Hoped on today, did some solo stuff and built a car, then hoped online and immediately got into a 14 player server with everyone drifting together. I usually play assetto so this is a perfect open world, sim-cade game for me. The map is easily better than forza, and for drifting the online is much better.
When you play car X street, you have to change from the nfs and forza horizon mindset. It’s not really a storyline and etc. I think it’s meant to play with friends.
@@polishman6147 nope this game is the only game on my pc im having a problem like this with and when it comes to car games i can play high/highest graphics on motor fest, forza horizon 4/5, and modded out assetto no problem and mind you it just started doing this randomly one day my first few days barely ever had frame drops or stutters at all

continued drift being a bad thing in your opinion just sorta shows your knowledge of drifting (no offence) but doing the same drift on a small map is basically just doing donuts, that's not really what drifting is, drifting is about (in simpler terms) splitting the map youre drifting in 2, and learning the first part and learning the second part, trying to interlock every turn into one "linking" as most drifters know it as. again no hate just hope that can make it a little easier to understand

It is not even close to a sim bro. But it is closing in on being that all around great driving game for me. Cut up in traffic, highway drifting, arab drifting, etc. It's all super fun. Even tried it on keyboard and controller and its still a fun experience. But on a wheel its not 'that' realstic. Assetto corsa is still the king. Carx is way more user friendly tho. No need to hop in and out of servers to switch cars etc. Actual customization... Game is great.

@@polishman6147 nope this game is the only game on my pc im having a problem like this with and when it comes to car games i can play high/highest graphics on motor fest, forza horizon 4/5, and modded out assetto no problem and mind you it just started doing this randomly one day my first few days barely ever had frame drops or stutters at all

How does everything seems way better in CarX street in comparison to TDUSC?
continued drift being a bad thing in your opinion just sorta shows your knowledge of drifting (no offence) but doing the same drift on a small map is basically just doing donuts, that's not really what drifting is, drifting is about (in simpler terms) splitting the map youre drifting in 2, and learning the first part and learning the second part, trying to interlock every turn into one "linking" as most drifters know it as. again no hate just hope that can make it a little easier to understand
also appreciate you saying about no traffic and drifting, the fun part for me is drifting around cars because its a game, you wanna do cool stuff that you wouldnt be stupid enough to do irl
physics in this game is like crew2/motorfest . its not realistic its too mobile/arcade. they should overhall it to carx drift physics , or try and make it like forza physics.
This gama is built for its own purpose in physics as it really should be. That's why there are multiple options.

I've played this game offline only since launch, not pseudo offline like you need internet, I mean completely offline.
U only need WiFi until the game loads and stay offline then u can turn it off

try it on a wheel, you will see that its more of a sim, just perfectly balanced game
It is not even close to a sim bro. But it is closing in on being that all around great driving game for me.
Cut up in traffic, highway drifting, arab drifting, etc. It's all super fun. Even tried it on keyboard and controller and its still a fun experience.
But on a wheel its not 'that' realstic. Assetto corsa is still the king. Carx is way more user friendly tho. No need to hop in and out of servers to switch cars etc.
Actual customization... Game is great.
