What a great introduction! I thought this was her first scene! She was so entertaining... it was a great combination of characters for these scenes lol BTW... This Dorian was so much better at being SNOOTY! lol
Wow, I had no idea Brenda was still on the show when Luna showed up, I thought she had already left! How long was it until she left? And does anyone know who was playing Babs or how long she was on there? She looks familiar to me. I love this clip. Luna at her quirky best, and her scene with Cord is great, as is Joey's line when he sees the chute (are they being invaded, do they need a gun). I guess the show forgot about the Tina/Sheila friendship after this?
Carole Shelley played Babs Bartlett; she has since passed away regretfully. I can't remember how Brenda left town, or if she was just phased out - but I liked her. I feel both her and Rafe were written out around the same time along with the characters of Hunter, Andy, and Dan. There was a period during the Gottlieb/Malone tenure, that the show was catching its bearings while it planned a series of new characters to hit Llanview - that though were not tied to the show's founding families, followed the template of diversity "One Life to Live" was created from: there was progressive priest Andrew Carpenter, new-aged Luna Moody, gay teen Billy Douglas, a very short-lived spousal abuse story (the Ebers), the vixenish Blair Daimler (originally cast as Asian), the divorced interracial couple of Hank Gannon and Nora Gannon (as well as mixed faith), their daughter Rachel, and the grifters Cain Rogan and Angela Holliday. Fan favorites James DePaiva (Max), Robin Strasser (Dorian), and John Loprieno (Cord) returned... I feel the relationships, like Tina and Sheila's, that were earlier explored, sort of gave way as characters were pulled into their own contained storylines - Tina trying to choose between Cain or her newly returned from the dead husband Cord; and Sheila now trying to figure out her feelings for Troy and Hank. I don't recall Tina and Sheila getting together for coffee to discuss their romantic problems.
I can’t believe I remember this. Must have been sick and stayed home from school.
Love this Dorian!
I love Dorian, period. She saw straight through people.
Luna was my favorite character.
I loved me some Luna Moody! When she got shot, my cousin and I were on the phone crying like babies!

Dorian sees straight thru Tina and Luna's phoniness.
Lots of recasts here! Tina, Renee, Dorian.
Horrible Tina recast
I don't think Rene was a recast in this scene. I believe the same woman played her through the run of the show but Tina and Dorian for certain.
@@LisaHousermanPhyllis Newman originated the role of Renee, and played her for a few months before Patricia Elliot took over.
7:40..."Haaaawblaaaww Espannollle...?"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Luna's attempt at Spanish is so dreadful that it's hilarious!
8:05...Luna just overheard Cord's full name.
She doesn't know squat about any "past lives."
🤣🤣🤣🤣

Luna wasn't "quirky," she was phony and flaky.
It's fitting that she seems to have came from the sky,(heavens) and then in the end she went back (sniff) or does that sound cheesy? lol.
RayiRoo Not cheesy at all
She came from a silly airplane ride with a guy she didn't know, not from any heaven.
Tinas better off without those snooty old ladies anyway. Why does someone parachuting in make the party tacky?
Tina would never have been accepted by Llanview socialites….
