Your views on Narayan Murthy's thoughts were full of clarity and realism. We can not compare India with China,Japan or USA or other advanced economies as they have modern infrastructure coupled with better education, healthcare, housing and other facilities.

I appreciate that you have articulated very well on all the factors required to boost productivity. Given the times we are in, we can't say things directly hence leaders like Narayan murthy is opting a indirect way of saying things to govt that we are in a very bad situation.
Productivity can be increased by being mindfulness i.e remaining in present times.. Indians should learn techniques to increase it.

Most Indian managers want their teams to participate in extracurricular activities like marathon run or put up social media posts about the company or keep giving meaningless demos and presentations. Most Indian companies lack vision, they are usually just executing someone else’s vision, can you get motivated to work hard in these situations? Obviously all this has to be done without impacting normal deliverables. Add to this 2-4 hours of travel through traffic, who has any energy left even?

Soon Murthy Sir would get Rajya Sabha seat and a bharat Ratna. He should start from his own company.

Finland is the happiest country in the world. Comfort is directly proportional to happiness and happiness is directly proportional to laziness. From the beginning, Kum padho acche se padho.. naki zyada padho.. you know what I mean.
Ye billionaires sirf economy oriented hote hain... Naki livelihood.

Apart from it... My dad yesterday came from the office at 9:14 pm .. while you normally go to the office at 8:00 am... Think about it... 13 hrs a day. For a 55 Year aged person.. 78hrs a week and sometimes Sunday too.. more than 85+hrs a week. Where he will get paid for only his 8 hrs.

lets analyze mr murthy comment: 1. 14 hrs a day that means if office (10 am to 12 pm)
    2. traffic food and sleep time reqd 2 hrs (sleeps at 2 )
    3. wake up at 8 and reach office by 10 again
    do this for 5 days
next two for urself which is also conditional (shopping bache and family friends)
Mr Murthy : respectfully aap apni sadi advice kahin aur dein!

Narayana murthy should himself first work 70 hours a week but only pay himself a salary of just 20000 rupees per month that even without his drivers and servants around to do his personal errands. Then we will follow him
