  • Here I review the refurbished snap hook originally made by Todd Foster years ago, after refurbishing from a case of bad water damage and some rust. The snap hook itself is 3.5” long, and the overall length is 9” in a beautiful oxblood color.

@@brandtbollers3183 correct, it’s technically a slungshot, no spring, just stiff stitching.

Thank you for these video Jules! Question: how do I get in contact with the Fosters about putting in an order?

Thomas Schneider their website is essentially non-functional these days... since the summer of 2018, the only place/way to get these is from their Facebook group, and be patient...
There’s nearly 1,500 group members there alone, and almost always 20-200 members ready to throw $$$ any time there’s a drop (which happen every other week or so from either Scott or Todd)...
They dialed it way back, because with the blossoming of social media, they were completely swamped with orders with the way things were, and it became unenjoyable for them as they both have full time jobs and families....
they’re not unobtainable, just takes some time, friendly interaction, and a willingness to pony up...
They’re not an Amazon warehouse, and they don’t really need to keep a HUGE number of prospective customers happy... as Scott’s fond of saying, “we don’t need the practice” 😂👍
      Hope this helps! 🙏👍

The snap hook is 5 ounces, not 6 or 7. At a full swing, it has as much impact as a small sap.
