❤️
Chloe Jones ❤️❤️
I want to learn so badly.
I wanna learn especially during this hot weather
Thanks :*
I really want to learn, so I can ride with my kids.. Ill be 40 :(
waah..i want to do it too..but i'm too shy to do it at the park
No need to be shy.. many of us were not fortunate to get a bike as kid.. I started today with few minutes.. will start from Sunday ..
You've either got to get over being shy or be okay with never knowing how to ride a bike
Update: I finally learnt .. it took few balancing practice and I just rode like I always knew how to ride.. i have to go back and see if I still can.. it was raining today
@@reshmashriyan5042 Congrats!
@@BN99239 thank you 😊
I am 25 and can't ride a bike
Just learned how to bike today I spent the first day scooting and trying to pedal but tumbling off my bike. Now I just have to learn how to go straight and turn.
Darn! I want to learn
I first tried to learn when I was little up to age 8. I could never do it and eventually gave up after having an emotional meltdown at 8 years old. It took me 9 years to try and learn again. This past summer I tried to learn again and I did the best I ever had but eventually fell and scraped my knee, making me not wanna do it ever again. I’ll probably never learn, which is fine because I have a car.
This is me. I have been trying since summer..... Lol 😂
No offence to people wanting to get a bike but it’s easier buying a kick bike, those things are awesome
What’s a kick bike. Is that an electric bike
I learned to ride a bike when i was 6
😂😂😂😂 omg nobody in my school can ride a bike like me! and I'm here watching this video and laughing 😬😬😂😅 Cause I wanna teach my sister and I don't know how to.. My little brother learned without any help from anyone 😂 Idk it's so easy guys
Who’s here because your dad didn’t teach you when you were younger 😢
I didn't have a father
🙋🏽♀️
That’s so sad, I just wanted to know if it’s easy riding for your first time if your an adult.
Me
Same
Kinda glad other people still don't know how to ride a bike. I'm 18 and still don't know how to lol
Edit: I'm 22 now and i still don't know lol
Beastythunder you missed alot
Beastythunder same here I've been trying it's frustrating
Beastythunder same, I am 17
I'm 17 and I just learned
Beastythunder same
Just learned this morning, took a couple of hours. I'm 26, btw.
Thank God im not alone ✌😄
Actually only 5 percent of people on earth can actually ride a real bike the proper way. people think they know how but actually have no idea what they are doing.
lol where did u get that info?
I can't believe this! My girlfriends daughter, 26, can not ride a bike to work! 3 miles to work, she is scared to drive, and does not know how to ride a bicycle. My training wheels were taken off the bike when I was the age of 3.
WallabeeDeviant89 You sir missed alot
My parents couldn’t afford to buy me a bike so I was never taught as a kid. I have my own income and finally was able to invest in one. I’m 25 years old and I’m starting tomorrow; seeing vids like this give me confidence I’ll have it down in no time. Wish me luck!!!
Update? :>
Please update us .. I bought a bike today .. $98 mountain bike from Walmart
Good luck everyone! Riding a bicycle is a brilliant way to keep fit and it's just great fun to boot! Anyone buying a bicycle I personally
Advise to pay for a good quality one and get one that's nice and light if possible !
YOU WILL GET IT!
WOOOOOO!!! :D
I'm just teaching myself how to ride a bike. I'm 34 years old and I have a very poor balance, and paralyzing fear. I'm also very analytical so I need to understand how things work before I can actually do it without failing. The thing that helped the most was watching a lot of videos. Then practicing balance first before trying to actually pedal. So let me break it down: First I spent couple of hours with the theory (my husband explaining, demonstrating step by step and million questions) then I started balancing myself and trying to stay calm (I have panic attacks due to childhood traumas with bike accidents) and getting used to the idea of just being there and learning how to keep balance, and just using the bike as a scooter of sorts. Now when I felt more confident on the balance situation I found easier somehow to be in a small slope (going up) and place my left foot on the pedal, then push myself with the right foot while keeping my eyes somewhere at the distance. I managed to ride successfully a few times. I will keep practicing as I need to gain confidence and more control, but I'm getting there. Please don't give up and set your mind to it. I watched many videos to understand how it works. For me things like "you'll feel it" or "you will know what to do when you're doing it" doesn't work for me at all, if I don't get some small detail I freak out and fail miserably. So try a different strategy: try to understand the logics and you will make it for sure!
I’m hoping you’re riding away! Thanks for this comment: I’ve got a similar way of learning & it gives me hope. 🫶🏽
My mother learned to ride a cike at age 52, you can do it if you set your mind on it, everyone!
I just wanted ant to find a place closed to my house.
its now my 2nd day trying how to ride a bike..
its slow progress, but i will try and try until i can
+Monica Pandey took me 3 days how to ride it roughly. maybe it took 2 weeks to really master it. the hardest part for me was how to restart pedaling. during the learning i didnt fall.
after 2 weeks learning, i could ride bike to work, the distance 20km.
just stick with the instruction from this video, you can do it
Asep hegar perdana ayyy persistent
Practice make it perfect
update : i can ride a bike now, well not really good..
but i can balance the bike and ride it, feels good
That is exactly me
+Jammer Universe well i already master it, i able ride it for 30km, and i can ride a motorcycle too

To those who are adults and don't know how to ride a bicycle, don't worry too much about what others think, chances are they won't even judge you. If you never try to learn, then you'll be the one judging yourself every day for not knowing how to ride a bike. The worse thing that can happen is that someone looks at you learning to ride a bike as you're falling up and down. They'll think "wow that person is so old but still can't ride a bike!" Okay. So now what? That's pretty much it lol. They won't even remember you after 10 minutes so who cares?
I'm 35 years old and i'm so excited about learning to ride a bike.
I hope i will do it!
SORRY , YOU DIDN'T ACTUALLY TELL PEOPLE "HOW TO RIDE" THERE WERE NO VERBAL EXPLANATIONS NOTHING.
+joseph dunn This wasn't an instructional video. It was a short clip of people taking a biking class.
In any case, there isn't a whole lot to verbally describe, as the teacher said. It's about getting that feeling for how to balance. You just have to keep pushing off and trying again until you find that centre of balance.
joseph dunn well I think he encapsulated it perfectly. It's what he said that most learners don't know about
PLEASE try on a small bike ! kid or adult , it does not matter ! you will learn faster on a smaller bike because it's easier to control.that wierd looking thing is awful as a learning bike.
My dad wants to teach me how to ride his bike and that thing is huge, I wanted my own bike but he loves his one so much 😂
Cool, I was excited for all of them. I hoped the lady who fell didn't give up! 👍
Jesus Christ😂😂
doinithealthystyle We see her at the end Ridin' the bike quite well - I liked the video a lot, watched it 4-5 times in a row - it was great to see them so happy and proud. I thought the instructor was really nice too - helping them out - nice guy. It gets to me when you see people who are proud of something they achieved - they made it happen. Hope they keep Ridin' and enjoy it too. :-)
why am i part of that 6% of adults who do not know how to ride a bicycle... just... why
I thought I was the only grown dude that don't know how to ride a bike I'm glad now lol
I'm 44 and I'm just now learning! My husband is teaching me and it's been quite fun and we've had a lot of laughs. It's so fun! I'm so glad I'm not so weird and other adults are learning too!!
I recently learnt at 16. Even my teacher had made my fun saying “cycle bhi nhi aati kya?". I was very sad and decided to learn it. And I bought a bicycle and tried lot hard. And I learnt in 2 days. And now feeling great.
All I want to tell you is this *“If I can do , anyone can do this".
by the way, those bikes in the video are more difficult to master that a regular mountain bike...
Why? I thought they were better because they were lighter, but I never learned how to cicle as well, so..
Im gust a 10 yr old kid/teen i started riding a bike and i am a master of biking i can stand while i am biking and feet of pedal and one hand biking
radical bro
lovely shane herrero or anita I can no hand bike
Absolutely agree, extremely wobbly and twitchy. Not good to learn on at all!!
There is nothing wrong about learning when you are old ma'am, there is no rules in bicycling that it was made to learn when you are a child, it's like learning motor bike is a must or learning how to ride a horse is a must, it's just some people were not interested in learning those things in earlier ages, so don't feel uncomfortable with that, keep going, you will get there.
It's funny because I can drive a manual vehicle but can't ride a bike 😭
I learned how to drive at age 27. I don't know how to drive a manual transmission and never learned to ride a bike. I'm 45 and now learning. I am slowly learning to scoot and balance. I tried learning in '03 but quit because my bike was too big. I'm 5'1" and only my tiptoes touched the ground. Not good at all for a newbie.
I got my bike back in June as a birthday gift - I was so nervous of falling and looking silly but after several attempts and failures I’m proud to say I finally know how to ride a bike and it’s been such a meaningful way to get some exercise and being outdoors!
I've been trying for about 3 weeks. I have trouble getting my foot on the pedal and balance :(
I'm 23 and just learned to ride a bike today!! :)
Im happy for you :)
Sboy's World well done 🤗
If you’re an adult and don’t know how to ride it’s all good it’ll take you a maximum of 1 day and minimum of 10 mins to get riding .
I have not biked in 10 years I don't know anymore
lindsay amen that's not true, you'll see that after you get in, everything comes back.
+DB I know right
I'm 28, the last time i biked i was 5 so now i feel the same i don't think i know how. Would love to practice and use that as my form of exercise though.
It is true what they say! "You never forget how to ride a bike." It just naturally comes back! Might be a bit wobbly, but you can do it!
My father never taught me how to ride a bike so i'm here
Just got my adult training wheels. I'm 50 and fat and the cute guy is not gonna hold me up 😂🤣😅😭
I'm 23 years old, how long will it take for me to learn to drive a bike. I'm getting probably a job next year which would require me to peddle a bike for about 2 miles. Could I learn to do it in a few days?
+Porkeater2610957 dude, I just learnt to ride today. Yes TODAY!!!!!!! It takes about one and a half hour to learn. Depends on the person though. the feelings was exciting.....!!!! :)
Wow. Congratz. :)
Anyway, your reply gave me a good amount of hope and joy :) Thank you :)
I was not opportune to ride a bicycle as a little child, not even as a teenager.
I worked, bought a bicycle for myself (it felt nice). I watched this video
THIS VIDEO RIGHT HERE was all I needed to learn how to ride. In a space of 3days, I elevated from a rookie to an experienced rider.
The compound I started in became small for me.
If I can do this, anybody can
I'm 28 years old now and don't know how to ride a bike 😂🤣 never tried tho
Absolutely. It' been 3 days I am trying to learn bicycle. I have nailed it with conviction. It took me two days to master the art of balance and I am still looking to fine tune my ride. All the best to all the adults.
Please can you explain how you master your balance?
@@Esther-sh2tz my father in law took me to an isolated yard right behind his house. He asked me to try peddling half. It was a problem for me. Then I realised that most part of the balance depends on the first stroke of the peddle which is like applying the first gear of a car. After the first peddle you grip the handle well to steer through the road and try and peddle continuously. The first peddle is basically the core push to ride and balance the cycle. This has been my experience.
I personally don't like this "scooting" method of starting out. I'm 64 and never saw this method back in the day.
Find it very disconcerting, wobbly and scarey not having feet on the pedals.
Easier in my opinion to sit with feet easily reaching the ground and have dominant foot with pedal 2.00 oclock and push off, other foot takes the pedal. You are much more stable and balanced with momentum and forward motion from the push off to start.
guys its very easy after you actually get yourself to go and try. The hardest part is to not think abt what people will think and actually go out there and try .You'll get it in a day or two. I never knew how to cycle until 21 ,I was too embarassed about it. I felt so low when i saw little kids riding like pros .Finally when i got myself to out there,i learnt it in like 2 days .Some things arent as hard as we perceive them to be...Happy riding!!;)
Bike riding is hard. Car got four wheels and it’s still hard especially manual transmission not everyone know manual. Bike has two tiny wheels. it’s amazing how human learn this amazing skill.
My 37th birthday is on Sept 2022. I want to learn before then! 🙏🏼
how the fuck😭😭😭😭
this is very educational, I'm 37 and sadly to say I'm still learning hoe to ride a bike and conquering my fear of the past.
I just bought a bike and practise my own .. Without someone pushing behind me. Technique is relax yourself and dont be afraid to fall
I think it's higher than 6%. I think some people are just too embarrassed to admit it.
My first day trying to ride a bike at a tender age of 33. Needs more improvement in U turns where I am losing balance
4 days in, showing much improvements. Still getting a bit nervous around people and other vehicles. Hopefully that will go away also.
At age 22 I learned to ride the bike with in 10 mins, although controlling the direction is a bit off. Its like the damn thing have a mind of its own...
I learned when I was 16- I can't steer to save my life. Your comment is so true, a mind of its own!! Breaking is terrible for me. It is never a graceful stop.
haa haa, the breaking , balancing, peddling is very OK but the direction not so great. If you try to go in a straight line, it keeps going far right or left and also trying to ride on the side of the road will goes right into the middle of the road. like its trying to kill me.....
+Tanmoy Sarkar lol so true
yess
the bike hates you and wants you dead if it steers you to the middle of the road
you've got biking schools for adults in the US?
Sinek O'Stan Im surprised too!!I live for 12yrs I never that before🤔
Lol not many, but some i guess
Am 23 still learning
I just got back on a bike after many many years. I fell off a few times and the chain came off. I fixed it though. I was so nervous. I kinda got that hang of it again now I can't wait to go back on the trails :)
I learned to ride a bike when I was 7, I'm 14 now and still ride about every day.
As an adult I learn how to skate so I can skate with my daughter now I want to learn how to ride a bike to bike ride with my oldest daughter 😃
i finally got to ride a bike thank you very much ❤ I'm 19 btw
This was in a Frasier episode (bikeathon). So this is a real thing, it's always cool to be able to witness the process of someone learning a brand new skill, it's a rare treat.
Watching it right now
How do you get over the fear of falling?
Have the same fear here too aswell. and i'm a 14yo.
28 and still don't know.
Ya same
You don't. You need to fall in order to learn something.
I agree with Dash. I learned cycling when I was a kid, and I forgot the count how many times I fell... Of course there's the fear, and you fall eventually. But after the first fall, your fear starts to loose the effects on you. Even though you are not able to balance yet, you start to feel much more comfortable.
:) my family went on a bike tour in Paris in 2006,Fat Tire Bike tours...First question from Fat Tire bike Tours ,does everyone here know how to ride a bike??/Everyone laughed ,and thought what a odd question...But the tour guide TJ ,I think from Austin Texas...Said we get people that do not know how to ride every week..:) Everyone knew how to ride a bike...:)
lol really? People go on bike tours without knowing how to ride a bike?
Am 39 n learning now
Never realized how many grown people can’t ride a bike lol
Today is my 4th day of training but still I can't balance my bike. I can ride it if someone is holding it from behind.
I really am crap on a bike. I'm not very steady.
I always assumed every adult can ride a bike even it’s there first time and that it just seems hard at first because everyone’s 4 or 5 when they first learn to ride a bike.
i wanna learn but i have epilepsy so i'm nervous about falling
I have epilepsy too and consequently take Keppra, Depakote and Felbatol. I even have a VNS device. However, I learned how to ride a bike when I was younger and I guess your main fear is what if you are successful at learning but have a seizure while bike riding? To mitigate any damage, definitely do not forget to wear a helmet. Make sure you're at least a year seizure-free before you start.
GoryBlizzard yea I know Depakote is one of them but idk what other meds I take but yea I’m Afraid of falling lol
LOL...I'm actually in tears watching them ride for the first time. I'm happy for them.
I’m 35 and I learned everything when I was a kid but flip and swim. I did skating, roller blading, biking and climbing on everything. But now I have kids my sons caught on very quickly to everything but my daughter 9 struggles with lots of sporty activities including riding a bike. We’re both determined I know she can do it👍🏾
Think you l am studying193764877384765892857like
Lol I live in a big city where people don't ride bike, learned how to ride at 22
I'm 34 and only just started learning. I'm glad i'm not the only one :)
I was a shy kid and I didn't want to ride a bike when someone is watching me. I'm 27 now and started learning to ride a bike just three weeks ago. I ride every weekend. I can do even long distances now and want to try more next weekend. It's so fun! I feel free.
All the videos I see are so unrealistic... 37 years old, I m giving it a try... But definitely will take more then what I see here on youtube
I wish someone had giver her the full stat. 6% isn't small.
The adult population (30-65) in Cali is 22 million.
That means 1.3 million adults in Cali alone can't ride a bike.
I'm 20 and still don't know how to ride a bike. :(
it is easy dont worry
Grab one and roll down a hill.
It’s a feel thing. True phrase. Love watching this bike learning tutorial. I can wait to get on my bike and self teach myself with your helpful video.
Take the pedals off an lower the seat so you reach the ground with both heels. Den you you look ut in the direction you want to go and start walking up to speed. Take your time, be confident. It is easier with a little speed so nice if you find a nice slope. Learn to brak and stop, setting one foot out. Decide which foot to set out. Practise stoping at a specific mark. In short, get used to ride on the bike and stop when needed. THEN you reinstall the pedals. Now your body knows everything about controlling the bike and you can concentrate on pedalling.
.wrong, wrong, wrong, that's is why you fall learning to ride. One, find a right size bike. Two, set the bike in easy gear. Third, very important, adjust the saddle height so that both feet can touch the ground.
Then with both foot hanging out, and not on the paddle, start with both feet push off from the ground, and let the rider feel the balance.
What you show is completely wrong. I hope you don't really teach.
What you show, the saddle is too high. Rider can only touch the ground on tippy toes. Big mistake.
It took me 10 minutes to learn to ride a bike.
And I’m 13
I did cycling at 12 years last time it's been 7 years i did cycling last time now I forget and wanna start again to get habitual
I own a bike (a Christmas gift) but can't ride. Looking for a class in Wisconsin
I'm 14 and can't ride cycle
Abhay Solanki I am 21 dude..😂
Abhay Solanki same bro, it's kinda embarrassing.
Hi iam just learned bicyle in 5 days now I can ride iam just 10 years old 😉😉😉
Yeah dont feel bad i use to be a pro at riding a bike. Back in my younger years i forgot how to ride a bike because its been so long since i rode on one so now i have to buy i new bike and try to learn how to ride a bike all over again i walk home from work 3 days week and it takes me 4 in a helf hours to get home and i get soo tired of walking i think its about time that i get a bike so i wouldn't have to walk home all the time
I'm with you🙈 35 years old and still don't know how🤣🤣
Last time I ride a bike was almost 30 years ago... Tomorrow I start again 🎉
Reminded me of a bunch of turtles trying to flip over off their shell
Im 243 and just learning today!
Next is skates, skateboards and bigwheels. I'm kidding.
Im going to buy a bike in a few weeks and learn. I can't believe I learnt skateboarding first.
+Gaurav Pulizala me too! I learned rollerblades and waveboard myself first haha
I learned to skate first too lol. Yet to learn to ride a bike..
octasian are you an ENFP by any chance?
I was doing it without training wheels.
'Feelings' =,,,,,,,=
Yes she is riding a bike. Me always scared I will fall off.
im here because my gf doesnt know how to ride a bike.
Hey im 32 years and don't know how to ride a bike. I want to
I need that!
I'm 21 and i have my sister mountain bike until now its hard for me to balance 😭 i keep trying im sweaty all over but im scared to fall i mean like fall in the ground . Its hard but i still keep trying 🙂
i just learned the other day at 21
I had a beautiful bike as a child. Pink with a white basket and training wheels. I lived in a dangerous neighborhood as a kid and wasn't let out of the house unsupervised so i could only ever ride it in my lawn or backyard. Suffice to say I never had the chance to try it out without the training wheels
do you lift you foot off the pedal with your left or right?
I"am almost 46 years old and i never ride a bike!
