    Remember this well. If I remember rightly the big July show used to be called 'The Classic Fighter Display' before it eventually took this name. This and the North Weald Fighter Meet were just incredible shows.

    Between The Fighter Collection and The Old Flying Machine Company they have restored many historic fighters to the air and keep them there. They have done wonders for the warbird restoration movement in this country. Thank you Stephen Gray and Ray Hannah.

      Agree they wove a special magic with historic aircraft on an historic airfield with an amazing museum

    I was there with my good mate Dieter who was nuts about ME 109s.
    I was going through the outbuildings to get something out of my car when i bumped into Cats Eyes Cunningham!
    I think he had a soft top BMW which made us both laugh at the irony. 😂
    Seemed a very nice man.

      Heros all and modest too. Alas I missed the first two shows so you were very lucky to be 'in ' at the beginning . Great shows thanks to the TFC, OFMC and all the others
