Edit (after 1 year): I am using 5g unlimited for free (Jio), my intent in this message was that with a usual 4g limit of 1.5Gb or 2Gb per day costs 200-300 per month for me. But now if people start using 5g and people keep using / demanding for that much high amounts I of internet, companies will definitely raise the billing prices.....

With wifi one can use that much in 20-30 mins... It's not that fast. Even 4gb without any data limit can easily download 11gb in one hour.
Now if we talk about pricing then wifi is not meant for personal use but family or atleast few people. Lowest plan is 500₹ per month. Say 3 people using it then 500/3 ₹ per person cost which is not very high. Wifi is affordable. Even 4gb would cost you more coz of expensive data recharges

@@siddheshmokashi923 Bro ur speaking about mbps (mega bits per second) and we have another convention to represent it, that is MBps(Mega Bytes per second). I think if ur talking about 5MBps then u can use 36GB (Giga Bytes) of data in 2hrs but if ur talking about 5mbps then u can use only 4.2GB assuming if you got constant 5Mbps.

Are you sure bro. Maximum theoretical speed of 4g is 300mbps apparently. Did some file actually download at that speed in appropriate amount of time or was this speed just shown by some speed meter?
I got multiple speedtests to complete near a 4g cell tower also at around 350mbit, and that was at multiple different servers in different cities, im not sure i can download that fast since this budget phone has slow as* memory when i transfer files

I just got an samsung s23 for me and it just made my jio 4g sim into 5g network and it really made a huge difference ngl
I used 16 Gb data at the first time in a single day
U are near 5g tower with line of sight. No users in the network. Hardly 4-5 users connected and you getting around 300mbps. When it will to all users you will hardly get 40mbps

Just Remember : Speed is in Mbps(Mega bit per second) not in MBps (Mega byte per second).

Things have changed a lot now, I'm in Chennai , almost everywhere I go I'm getting 5g but for only about 50% of the times I'm getting actual 5g speeds, I'm getting around 400-500 usually and around 600 when best case scenario,

I work for jio. We are given a testing 5g phone and a 5g sim to test 5g tower . We jst did speed tests driving 150 to 200 meter around towner for 2 hrs. And data consumption was 160 gb. But EOD it stood at 600 gb. Went through 6 power bank😆
