This is one of the best, if not the best, proofs for a non-Shia to listen to in order to understand the position of the Prophet in their school of thought.
You ask me why I disassociate from certain companions? I ask why do you disrespect the man who they were companions of.
You ask me why I disassociate from certain wives of the Prophet? I ask why should I follow a wife who disrespected my Prophet?

Point driven home with clarity and precision that I have not heard from the pulpit before.
You have uncovered the sources of the blasphemous content regarding the Prophet (PBUH) created in the present time, be it the book ‘Satanic verses’ or the play ’The Who and the What’ (that I have walked out of utterly disgusted within the first half hour of its commencement).
Your approach is explicit. You have clearly distinguished the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) the Shias revere from the Prophet Muhammad found in the Sunni literature- and yes! They are NOT the same personality.
I have often wondered why Western authors seek out and write only about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) described in one particular sect’s literature. The stuff one reads in books like ‘The First Muslim’ makes one squirm. I seriously found it hard to continue reading the book after I came across the several descriptive versions of the ’open heart surgery' that supposedly the Prophet narrates, was performed on him by two angels to purge his heart of the pollution of Satan. One only wonders how anyone reading this biography of the Prophet could not ever (nouzobillah) question the sanity and integrity of the man and the origins of the religion, Islam.
There is a dearth of literature in the English language on the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that the Shias recognize, love dearly, and revere.
The world must know the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) whom we, the Shias, deeply admire. Someone must take the lead on this.

It’s a master piece from, I think I have never missed any speech of Mr. Ammar. Long long time ago I picked Bukhari when I was going through the book I was ashamed and shocked the way prophets pbuh and his family life was narrated by Ayesha it was quiet disgusting, how could you do that?

This lecture is important not only because it dispels a widely spread misconception in the Muslim world about the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, but also because the perception of the Prophet influences the formation of our attitude towards how we seek spirituality. It is not the same to understand Islam if we believe that the Prophet was bewitched and if we believe that he was not bewitched.

35:14 I think it needs to be pointed out how some of these prominent non shi'i English lecturers have disparaging accounts of the life of the Holy Prophet (sawa). Timothy Winters is so overrated just because he studied & lectures at Cambridge University.
Yet they fail miserably in using common sense & logic when looking at the Prophets (sawa) life, just to maintain their biased warped insulting narrative to suit their hadiths on the best creation of Allah (swt) which go against the Quran
It is hard to find one of their prominent speakers who doesn't hold these insulting views.

Yet those Bakri liars claim we Shia raise Ali (AS) over RasulAllah (SAWW) Sunni Dogma gives a sub standard Old Testament Version of Nubuwah (Prophethood) to lower the Maqam (Rank) of RasulAllah (SAWW) and raise people like Ayesha ie The “Mother” of the Sunni
Yes that's exactly right! They cannot fathom why we go to visit the Imams (AS) and the spiritual benefit it has on our souls because they don't even put Prophet Muhammad PBUH on that high of a pedestal. May Allah SWT guide those who don't know. It's a poor way to live to be close to the truth yet so far.

I genuinely believe this man has single handedly changed the way I think about Shia Islam, the amount of knowledge he has passed on to me through his podcast and lectures is simply amazing and I hope Dr Syed Ammar Nakhswani continues to do so.
Can someone please explain the point Sayed made about mufti menk and his explanation about the verse releaved to calm down or honour Uthman being angry at the prophet. What was the quran verse ? And what does the verse mean ?
He means that even though he is educated and sincere he is still putting the khalifa’s character over the prophet . The verse was sura 48. Mufti menk basically said that an aya was revealed to console Omar because he was mad at the prophet and questions his prophethood, suggesting that Omar’s feelings was more important than the prophets message.

Can someone please answer me this question ? Sayed ammar said the prophet (as) can not be touched by black magic does they also include evil eye / hassad?
Why then are their stories in Shia literature about the maasumeen our holy imams being touched by the evil eye / hasad?

I think he said even Shia literature has stories of witchcraft affecting our Masumeen, they are false and he will not accept them. We cannot accept these kinds of stories because they contradict with the characteristics of the Holy Masumeen. He said Black Magic cannot harm anyone if they are pure (tahir), and many other conditions that he has mentioned. All these characteristics are found in our Masoomeen.
Surah 38 verses 82 & 83: Satan said, “By Your Glory! I will certainly mislead them all (82), except Your chosen servants among them.” (83)
