Congratulations on your son!! 🎉
Preciate it homie
Awesome garden! Just a heads up. The kiwi vines will take over your life… they’re no joke when they take off. 😅
I don’t know how your channel isn’t blowing up, I could watch all day on on both channels
Glad you enjoy, we'll get there in time. Thank you for the encouragement!
@@InOrdertoEat I agree. I've been binge watching both of your channels. Much better than anything else I can find! And I'm in central GA, so much of your contest applies to me. Same growing zone, same climate, same clay soils.
hi there Laura here love the trellis
Sweet place, i loved this video❤
Preesh, glad ya enjoyed
I love the Mega Trellis!! I wondered if those predator lights would work. Now I know! Thanks for sharing.
Working good so far, fingers crossed
❤❤❤
Lovely garden tour, Will. Thank you. Everything is so lush and beautiful.
honeyberries grow like a bush, they don't usually need trellising
Thanks, wasn't sure
Parks whoppers always do good for me too. I’m up by the nc state line in sc. Cherokee purple do good as well for me.
you need more fruit trees bro, and what you said your self pernials. but i am jealous good looking place and seed saving! Those white grapes looking so big. congrads with the lil one keep on growing!
I know, I don't have a ton of space I want to put trees though, on the south side of my house. I want to keep that sunlight high. Need more berry bushes for my house
Beautiful! How do you keep plums from getting the curculio? And where can I buy the pumpkin seeds?
Idk which variety, but we make persimmon cookies every year. They're good
Nice, will try that. Thanks
Your honeyberry aka Haskap is a shrub about 4' wide and probably 7-8 foot tall at maturity. - it does not need trellising. That trellis impresses me every time I see it. I am surprised at how many pumpkins you grow and don't eat them..to funny. The question is why? lol. I grow Nanking Cherry up here in Zone 3 as well - I quite like them. Some Black current is a good naturalizing shrub if you are looking for one..and so good. Uses the edges is great if you don't get snow - lol. The true edge here is the edge of the bush which along my driveway grows all sorts of food to forage - pin cherry, chokecherry and this year beaked hazelnut, to mention a few. Do you have the look alike to puff balls? The look alike is poisonous I understand - the only difference is one is round on the bottom and the other is tear dropped kind of - scared me enough so that I won't try ...lol. Glad to hear you don't like them. Have you tried pheromone traps hung at the top of the apple trees to keep the bugs away? You sure have a lot of trees scattered around - good stuff! The gardens and trees look great. Thanks for the walk around - I enjoyed that!
We do eat a few of the pumpkins, can only eat so many pies though. I often feed them to the chickens & worms, so they're good for that.
Black currant is actually illegal here, something to do w/ spreading pine tree diseases is my understanding.
The difference in edible puffballs is if they're white on the inside. Poison puffs are gooey & black in the middle, it's a pretty easy one to differentiate. I'd also be sure the puffballs are growing on the ground, I have seen some sort of mushroom that looks like a puffball growing on rotten wood before (can't remember what they were called, I think they're technically some type of mold).
@@InOrdertoEat Fair enough. That's interesting about currants. Fair enough, we have a couple different varieties of puff ball here, pear shaped being one of them...have not seen the ones you describe. Thanks for the info.
Wait, what? You have another RUclips channel? You didn’t even tell me, but I found you
Here I am lolz, this'll turn into my ranting channel
@@InOrdertoEat by the way in a couple of days I’ll be picking my first Kibler Okra of the season! I’ve been struggling with the chicken and dumplings cow peas, but I had 6-8 plants that are starting to take off. 🤞 Thanks!
The Kibler okra is great tasting and growing great. Just started picking the C&D peas also.
Nice, pickling some today myself
Looks great! I need to know how to can basil!
We make it into pesto, then can it
Where do you live? for reference on what you can grow
South Carolina
Do y’all get any fruit off of that pindo palm beside your mom’s house?
yes, & its good. However, the plant is surrounded by creosote railroad ties. I'm a little wary of eating anything growing near that stuff
@@InOrdertoEat they are very good.
