Man what a hard question!!! I guess I'd say conifers and other trees. The arrangements are truly my favorite. I need yall to come assist me in the design of my property, I'm not to far from you.
I would say it’s the tour itself. I like how it doesn’t feel rushed and you really get to see and study each plant you talk about. I watch a lot of garden tours and these are by far my favorite.
First, you guys have a good gardening chemistry. Your mutual enthusiasm really comes through and helps to know which points you take most seriously. Second, I like Bruce's use of tricks like building a berm, and his various build tricks. Third, Bruce has good landscape design skills, and I learn a lot by seeing how things are arranged. Personally I would prefer more herbaceous plants and not just Conifers. You two have Conifer fever and not everyone has reached that point yet.
BRUCE!!!! I absolutely love the Bruce videos! The beauty of his garden, his willingness to share his knowledge and his southern charm! This video will play on repeat at our house.
This is a inspiration to me...our house burnt down...and my yard and gardening has been put aside with all the construction going on...this really picks me up ...thank you..
You 2 continue to crack me up with giggles. You two are my favourite gardening youtube channel. Bruce, with his wit & knowledge, & Justin, this old body could just use an ounce of your high energy & enthusiasm for gardening. Bruce, your conifers are just amazing --I've always been a keen fan of evergreens. However in my Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on a high hill: junipers, cedars, & pines get burnt in the winter winds unless well sheltered. My husband & I discovered cypress many years ago & have never looked back at such varieties. So I rely on spruce, fir, and chamecyparis'. Our summers now have evolved into the high 80 F - 90 F during June & July & much of August. Unfortunately, our winters now are less snow & more high winds that would make your North Carolinan hides pucker in frost! lol Can't wait for another garden tour of Bruce's yard & still watch S & K & admire all the options you have for shrubs. Big fan also of watching Iselie Nursery tours of their wonderful conifers. Makes me drool with envy.
I love these videos. I’ve been growing tomatoes the past two years, Bruces way and have had much success. I live near Clemson, S.C. In Z8A. Thanks guys!!!!
This RUclips video series you’ve done with Bruce is my favorite of all time. It’s makes me so happy to watch these because he’s done such an amazing job of variety, color, and texture that I am just blown away. I have watched the first 2 multiple times. Justin and Bruce I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to come along and view the evolution of your plants and garden through these videos. Thank you thank you thank you….
Justin, Bruce, and Alex, I absolutely love the tours of Bruce's garden paradise. I've never seen a garden as stunning as this one, from the trees and shrubs to the flower beds and borders to the gorgeous planters and the vegetable gardens. After watching this how could anyone not become a plant person! Thank you, Bruce and Julie, for allowing us to tag along, it's an honor. ~Margie🤗💗🦋🐝💐
I absolutely love Bruce's enclosed vegetable garden. Not only functional, but so darn good looking. Being from Canada never have had collards, but if anything like beet or turnip greens, my mouth is already starting to water.
I just finished watching! I've watched Bruce's previous tours many times! There is so much beauty and information packed into these tours! Thank you! Bruce is the man!
Just fantastic. Thank you gentlemen so much. You are my role model for the perfect most interesting gardens ever. Just....how's it go....STUNNING!! Lol
Wow wow & wow…. Bruce has done it again. This man is just a wealth of knowledge & his amazing garden reflects it. Justin please do another tour in Fall or Spring so we can see the amazing colors on his Japanese Maples. TY ❤
Well, I will have to play this video again and again, not only to enjoy looking at this master's garden but also to absorb these words of wisdom. Bruce I am so grateful for allowing us to see this heaven on earth. Stay blessed.
Yes let’s make this an annual tour event! The conifers is definitely my favorite part of the tour, it’s very educational! However, I love love the entire garden, it’s well thought of! I wish I am his neighbor, I would love to learn from a master gardener ( don’t know if Bruce is, but to me he is Master). Thank you for sharing this with us.
BRUCE!!! My brother! I was so excited to see a video of your garden pop up. Yay! I’m still waiting for your spaghetti sauce recipe! lol I haven’t forgotten 😂 your garden is looking amazing as always. I was up in NC two weeks ago and I was thinking man I need to go see Bruce’s garden. I went up there just to see gardens. Had a blast. One of the most beautiful states in the USA, especially for gardens.
SO a happy this third installment is up! I just came across these videos earlier this summer, and you have inspired me to do my own mini version! This is like Christmas in July! Speaking of…could we possibly add a WINTER tour of the garden? Would love to see it in the off-season. You two rock! 💯💯💯
After watching Bruce's video last year, it helped me change my mind on things.... like I always just planted my coleus in pots, but planting them in groups in the ground is beautiful, and adding lots of annuals to my beds. Thank you, Justin, for all your nursery knowledge videos it has helped me decide on what plants to pair together. And I plan on planting my 1st conifer next year. Both of y'all are fun to watch and very knowledge. Thanks.
Hey Justin, it’s Tina from Florida… I just love when you tour This Garden. Of course I was online at the same time Buying some of those trees. You all are not good for my habit! Be blessed.
Bruce thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property. The magnificent trees , shrubs, flowers & vegetable gardens are just outstanding. I look forward to your video each year, I have learned so much from each one
Omg..this brought me tears with happiness..everyone gardner and non gardener should watch this video..the joy, passion, and knowledge shared and humor too is amazing..I haven’t watched the prior ones as I somewhat knew to the channel..also need a tee shirt..Hug your Conifer..😅
Hi guys! The plant brought back from the mountains is called Agrimonia parviflora, Harvestlice according to my plant ID. Everything is beautiful as always, Bruce!! ❤
I'd love a video with Bruce detailing his care routine to get the kind of growth he does: 1) soil amendments when planting (peat moss, compost, etc) 2) irrigation type and frequency and 3) fertilizer type and frequency
Watching this tour of Bruce’s Beautiful garden is such a delight. My favorite thing besides the beautiful plantings is the knowledge that Bruce shares. Informative videos are appreciated. I also enjoy how you always add in still photos to show different shots of the plants. ❤ would love a dead of winter follow up video in Bruce’s garden so we can see the conifers at that time and how he plants winter flowering plants.
I absolutely LOVE this guy and his garden and most of all his passion for his plants! Its so inspiring and a life well lived you can tell by his atttitude.
Absolutely love this. Northren minnesota gardener here and I love to see all the different conifers that you guys show. Makes me want to up my conifer game. Thank you for the tour Bruce.
I love these tours. It's nice to see what Bruce is doing. I think my favorite is the unique conifers...but the over all garden design as a whole is great. Great job Bruce!
Thank you for sharing your horticultural and be loved conifer garden passion . It's beautiful, and your tender, love, and care shine right through them. They smile at you.
You are sooooooo lucky to have gotten to see such an incredible garden!!! Speechless. So beautiful!!! This is my first time seeing his garden. I will have to check out previous summers. That's so funny as they were walking towards the conifers I was thinking those little orange flowers almost look like lights and then they said they're called Bright Lights LOL
Just here to say that when the Forever Goldy part of the tour popped up my 3 year old daughter said "It looks like troll hair!" 🤣 I'm taking out some massive hollies from our foundation corners and I can't wait to try these goregous trees.
Bruce and I are curious.. What's your favorite part of these tours? The flowers, vegetable garden, or conifers??
