Our VRF Grab Bags (GB) videos are compiled from content from our cameras as Mods and fans spot something neat while watching our cameras. In the GB you will, of course, find a variety of TRAIN content, special trains, maintenance, steam, diesels, interesting rail cars, cool paint schemes and more. You will also find fun people, city events, boats, planes, cars (sometimes going wild) and nature. Thank you for taking the time to sit back and enjoy these highlight reels that we call "Grab Bags"! For my money, there is no better-looking livery than the Southern Railroad. Nice to see that legacy paint job on the Curve.
It's one of the best heritage schemes out there. Perhaps the best. I was pleased when I saw it in person in Cordele last november.
Thank JP. The Darwin was a great display of why yiu don't go past flasing lights.
Great seeing the light blue Caboose roll by at Kansas City. I enjoyed that bit of Switching in the night and hearing the engines rumble as they idled and then set-back. That small Yard by the Mainline makes for an ideal Model. All those different engines were good to see too, thanks VRF.
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains in multiple locations, especially the Heritage Units, lighting strikes in Fort Madison, Iowa, and so much more, I like them, they're awesome, @Virtual Railfan, thank you very much and have a nice day.
Oh man, that lightning--!!!! Plus a fantastic sunset with cumulonimbus at OKC and lots of footage from Horseshoe Curve, which is always gorgeous. Loved the Bessemer & Lake Erie engine too--thanks for another great one!
As a resident of Pennsylvania and about an hour away, I loved the views from the Horseshoe Curve in this video.❤ So many engines! 😯
Cool lightning show
Thanks for all that great footage of the Horseshoe Curve ❤
Would be great if BNSF painted up a couple of locos in Warbonnet!!
That Amtrak number 75 the sure doing some rocking and rolling
Awesome lightning show
Hi Dwayne and Matt , Have not seen this yet but you know how much I love storms and these awesome Grab Bags.
Now that I have seen the Grab Bag- A lot of great catches. Nice job VRF!
Great action at Horseshoe Curve, nice lash ups and catch on the SRR GE and VA EMD!🛤🚂
Notice how all of the variety is on the east coast 👍
That was a nice looking caboose with the cupalo. Pretty blue paint job. 🚃
Those Warbonnets look like they must be on their way to Pielet Bros.
surprised the geese at HSC didn't make the grab bag - glad we caught it live
Cool

I like those Santa Fe locomotives from Ft Madison on the K line
I just wished I can see more of these Santa Fe locomotives I think they are those WC 44 9 CWs GE locomotives
NS 7246 and 7247 bringing up the rear at the Curve. Nice.
*Awesome Video*
Ha I had a decoder badge when I was young in the 50s❤
Cool!
i recognized the decoder ring & message from the movie "A Christmas Story"; pardon me for being dense here, but what does it have to do with an Amtrak passenger train descending Horseshoe CUrve? 🤔
Sill a great Grab Bag overall! 😊
Is that what that was?? I thought it looked familiar...
Some of these heritage units could use some cosmetic loving. ❤😊
2:05 That special train of transformers at Doc’s Caboose was caught by the Tower 55 Fort Worth camera in the last grab bag.
When it’s Grab Bag time, it’s like railroading in its prime.
Your trian videos on RUclips are so amazing! When you show Elkhart, Indiana, I when there with my folks. And I saw the camera on the amtrack station. Have a great rest of your week. Bye-bye. Aaron Crann

Hi
👋
6:40 BNSF has their own flatcar?
What is the significance of the blinking red signal @ 1:38, and why not a green for an already set switch and clear siding?
VR likes to show signal aspects change. Simple as that.
What is the little structure outside the fence at the Horseshoe Curve? It looks like a well house.
What am I looking at with the 2nd loco at 3:07 . Seems to be a high nose?
Not a locomotive. It measures track geometry
Hi Virtual Railfan & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Virtual Railfan & Friends Randy
What type of cars were on the Deshler cam at 10:41?
How does someone get a heart image on a license plate? Sure California is known for out of the ordinary things, but still, is that even legal?
Yes, California has a bunch of Special Plates you can buy.
1:22 What kind of K5HL is that? Never heard of one this fouled before.
Could anyone kindly explain the Ovaltine reference to me?

Yea, if another train was coming all that Darwin had to do was move his car sideways
