On placebo effect: or how about the effect of the environment alone? Eg working in a clinic as opposed to a non clinical environment (eg gym). I imagine it could make a very significant difference. Exercise physiologist here - I’ve worked in hospitals, clinics and gyms and see a massive difference in patient perception alone and how they approach a rehab or pain management protocol.

Impairment from a concussion and the constant back, hip & shoulder pain, all keeps me just about bed bound. Sucks.
