I don't know how Bob Seger escaped me for so long. I had always known of him and knew his well known hits but like his career, it just took awhile. I always loved Turn the Page so i figured i should check out more and i'm now sold.
This was my first concert in Toronto in 1980 I was 10 and my Dad knew security for the show and we were front rows center floors and he rocked. We had VIP ribbons and I literally walked around with a smile for weeks. Saw him again in 1982 this time my Mom came too..she was so mad when she found out I was front row she wanted to see him too. So we did 😂Great reaction and Peace out ✌️ ☮️
Love me some seger he actually lives about an hour from me here in Michigan! You need to do traveling man/beautiful loser from live bullet! One of the best live albums ever recorded!! Please and thanks mugs!
Live Bullet: "Get out of Denver" "UMC" One of the Silver Bullet Band backup singers is Karen Newman. She sings the National anthem for Red Wings hockey games. She belts it out.
Everyone has that friend who is a little to high strung, that lives life on the edge one to many times but somehow manages to land on their feet every time. This song to me, sounds like an old friend who finds that friend and realizes nothing has changed after all this time.
Me and my oldest friend. He was in his mind always better, faster, smarter, but in the end of the day he wasn't. He was jealous of me for some reason. We all have someone in our lives like that.peace out
Hey now I'm here for this I haven't recognized anybody you've covered lately missed your mugs I'm going to send a coffee I'm still trying to find out which song my last one was 15 minutes. I wanted to do another Johnny Winters but I think I'm going to send you an old Etta James
Dude you want some amazing pre fame seger? Seger has 3 time periods. Pre Bullet band - Prime with Bullit band and last part of career with bullit band. All 3 are amazing but Nobody reacts to the pre bullit stuff and man are they missing out!!! "Leanin on My Dream" "River Deep, Mountain High" (Tina Turner cover) "Turn on Your Love Light" "Bo Diddley" from Smokin OP'S "2 + 2 = ?" "White Wall" .... these are some acid rock raw rock 70's funk . Even a lot of big Seger fans don't know these songs but sure as hell should!! Seger is a true rock god and there is No performer ever like him!!

Can't go wrong with Seger. He's one of the guys that you could rock to and your parents even liked. It's like he had his own genre for everyone

Every song on that album is a banger.
I was never a fan of Bob. He just never clicked for me. But this song is an old favorite for me. Great melody and lyrics.
Bob Seger was one of the rarest of musicians to make it big without selling out to the controllers of the music industry. Big time Bravo! to him
Once a hustler, always a hustler.
