That pond/water hole area is stunning.
The path looks great with the staggered cobbles. Looks like a hobbit village.

This video really helps a lot. Starting to save materials now 100%. I love how you explain how we need to think different when it comes to items placement. This video reminds me when people started decorating and thinking out side the box on animal crossing and we got so many amazing islands. I believe Dinkum has the same potential. Nice tips! I plant sugarcane and wheat to in my pond for decoration. I let the rain water them. Adds height variation as well.
I had no idea you could make things this cute in this game. I don't have a PC, so I'm waiting for a Switch port (hopefully). The trailers and early play throughs made the world look a tad bleak for my taste, but wow! What you've done here is amazing, and is making me rethink my initial assessment.

Still new to the game and have been so addicted interacting with the npcs, reading the fun texts , and loads and loads of decorating haha ~ I didn't know we could put decorations in the ponds or even have giant mushrooms! 🍄Thank you so much for this video, ConsoleCaito! We have a structured town square made of brick path but use the rock path for branches off behind buildings to the animal pens, farm, and orchard:)

@@consolecaito So far, I‘ve yelled at my keyboard quite a bit because I always hit the wrong keys and never move where I want to go, but apart from that it’s great 🙃
@@catherinefayrefox420 if you have a controller, try using that! I have found it to be much easier personally. 🥰

if you break the lawnmower you can pick it up like the other tools and move it from place to place to mow the grass faster and a lot easier

I think you can grow lots of grass quickly if you plant grass seeds around a sprinkler.
Your town is so amazing! I would love to play Dinkum, but I want to play it on Switch. I don’t have a steam deck, but I have a Lenovo computer (I guess that’s a PC so I could play Dinkum on that if I wanted to). Please make more Dinkum stuff!
I have a Lenovo laptop and i have to run it on low settings but it runs just fine :)

Do you find your building style reflects your country of origin. I'm from England and built my houses and shops in neat rows surrounding a square. All the buildings are close with narrow gaps. I'm not sure if this reflects my mind or my origin. The UK has small buildings, mostly, esp. houses, narrow, windy roads. Although my main island isnt very green.
Additionally, I built a stepped, brick pyramid with brick obelisks. Has anyone manage to build stone henge? How did you do the lintel stones?

I hope they release on switch. I have a computer that I can game on, but with a busy life and toddler it takes a lot for me to sit down at the computer to spend several hours playing.
