Hi guys. Peter Here. My wife and I stumbled across your adventures while looking at youtube for ideas as we have just re-entered the caravaning lifestyle by purchasing our new to us van.
Thank you for taking us back to Kalgoorlie as we lived there for almost 23 years and had 3 kids all born in Kalgoorlie. We now live in the southwest near Bunbury.
At the time, my old job took me all throughout the goldfields while my wife stayed at home. And I have seen many beautiful sunrises and sunsets. One of the things I promised my wife was to take her on a round trip of all the places I've been. We can do that now.
We have enjoyed your travels very much.

We have migrated from Sydney since April this year & call Dardanup home, even got my Dardanup number plates today !!
I use to take my kids to cemeteries when we drove and have them try to find their first name, the oldest person, the oldest grave stone and what ever I could think of. They had to read, do math and they would get a lot of energy out looking for their name on the stones. Ole running from the drone was cute.
That’s a great idea (: so important to teach them (:
Back of Mongers Lake there's a grave for a woman and three kids. Apparently they died while the family were traveling on foot to a mining job for the husband. A spell of weather in the mid 40C was too much for them and dad and one child made it through. What a horrible thing.

It's not weird it's the best thing to do to learn some of the history of an area , we always stop in at cemeteries to look at the name's and date's of the area ! Keep on keeping on guy's , always lovin' your videos!

We also spent lot of time checking out the cemetery’s as you say learn lots from them we went round Aussie twice didn’t live full time like you loved every minute being on the roads my husband was very good fisherman so spent lots of time on beaches you have been very close to us when fished and camped out the Aims road south of Townsville you did well fishing there I have followed you since Lennox was very young keep doing what you do your boy have greatest life we camped lots with our boys also they both great fishermen both in fifties now happens so fast enjoy the boys while u can we were great grand parents now have a granddaughter who is good fisher girl has won tornaments already

The Sons of Gwalia mine is where I met my husband 😄We worked there in the 80’s early 90’s so many awesome memories. Thanks for sharing guys we are doing a goldfields trip in June so plan to stay at many of the locations you showed.

Well guys another great Friday night, Ollie is becoming a star like the other two, the three of them are growing up so fast. You appeared to miss the freecamp in the middle of Kalgoorlie there used to be a foodvan there that made monstrous hamburgers [bloody fabulous] we're surprised you missed it. Not sure where you're headed, was it a return to Esperence, if so, saw a show on Dunns track that went south to Fanny Bay looked right up your alley Nick, I know you'll think we're taking the mickey but it's true just run a search on YT. ❤❤
Yes we stayed at the free camp for 72hours 🤘 it was awesome and yes we saw a food van but never ate from it (: oh thank you for that! Will look it up! 🤘
