Good show Nick, heaviest spud at Malvern last yr was 2.332kg 6th place was 1.046kg, I was expeting everything to look drowned on the site we've had so much rain, had floodwater in my garden 8" from comming in the house, Sunday & Monday night looks like another havey rain event, we're on pins lol
@@uptheplots They have done a great job 2 years in a row, although the compost was different and a different size. I need to do some tinkering with them for next year, maybe add a forth or use a whole bed as a giant container, 🤔. Now you have me thinking about next year already 🤣😁👍👌🥔💪

The first couple of things I noticed were how amazingly well kept your plot site is, you are very lucky. The next thing was how wet the ground is! You have done fantastically well with your potatoes, do you think you have broken last year’s record? All the best, hope you are keeping well 😊

I’m going to try the 1 seed technique next year, can’t do any worse than we did this year - must have planted around 100 seed in various containers and composts and got back less than you got from that ONE 😂 our best performer, by miles, was a single supermarket bought rooster, and last year it was a supermarket Maris variety. Something wrong about that!
I have never heard of aerial tubers so I have learned something today.
