I enjoyed your review, pity you didn't mention anything about charging via the USB-C connection. As this is a portable (travelling) projector it would be useful to know how the charging away from an electric source works.
@@FPtechtalk apparently in the online manual and other literature on the internet, it also charges (and possibly powers up) form from a "power brick" supplying power at no less than 3 amps. However, this information is so fragmented and the company is so impossible to reach that a reviewer such as yourself with hands on experience could go a long way to making this clear to prospected buyers.
@@FPtechtalk so if I would like to bring this camping how do I charge it? Obviously can’t use the provided dc adapter as there are no electrical outlets, I would be using a power bank.
My version of the M1 + does not work with usb c charging. I believe there is a gen 2 version of the M1 + that does allow it. So I would double check the model you are buying
Mate, just a quick question, if i plug my portable USB stick, which has several mp4 videos, would it be play it alongside the sound?, let's say i want to project a movie on my USB which is in mp4 format, no issues?, Thank you for the review!
The USB-C port, is it for charging the projector, or drawing power out of the projector to charge something else? I tried hooking up an external battery to the USB-C port to see if I could charge the projector on one of those big batteries, but nothing happened, unless I was using the wrong, USB-C cord, but I don’t think so.
Dear brother can you tell me please which version of Amazon stick you used in this video cause as I know Amazon stick can't be powered from the projector please
Hi there. I bought it and after 100 hours of use it simply died, out of nowhere it stopped turning on, it did not fall, there were no downloads, nothing, a real disappointment. Thanks.
@@carloslopezmiranda1371 sorry to hear. I shouldn't complain that i cant connect to my android, control any features or set the date or time. Good luck in the future.
Thanks for your review, it’s helpful! I have a question about connection with iPAD. When I connected iPAD via Bluetooth, it works but no sound at all. I have no idea what I can do for that. Thanks

This projector gets the job done pretty well. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.
I found some info about that when I bought m1+ last year and found an info like this.. "The power bank that you should use has to be USB Power Delivery." That means the projector needs higher voltage like 15 volt. (12volt could be also. I could not remember clearly, sorry) You can check this on user manual or forums.
Please read - do not buy this projector! I had mine for a year and a half - ended up with HEAPS of white and black dead pixels, now it does not turn on. Very bad quality product even though I looked after it well.
excellent video! nobody reviews projectors in day lit rooms. Thank you for that
Great video, thanks chief. Ordered :)

Hi. This only charges via included power adaptor. Hope that helps.

Are you trying to use it to play music or what videos? Are you using the air play feature like on the iPhone
Mine stopped working . How can I fix it?
Depends on what happened. Is it powering on or completely dead?
@@FPtechtalk its completely dead only the power button works when plugged in
Can’t help too much there. I haven’t noticed any issues yet from my one.

whats the best screen for projection on a roof for the house
The roof by itself works great. Esp if it’s painted white
how you connect the power brick is that through the usb port so as to have longer battery life?
The power brick used a dc power connection
Dude, how did you manage to download apps on the projector? I don't make it in any way.
It’s not worth it so I wouldn’t bother. The only way to use this is with a firestick
What is the microsd card size limit, same for USB stick?
32gb
Can you power the projector with external battery bank?
I have used it this way before to charge. Prob will not be enough while in use
So you have charged this via a power bank? Which bank did you use as my 65w will not work.
