Dani, I love your videos, although I see and photograph many red squirrels in my own backyard. But to see them like that in the forest is really something very special.
@@Foxglove963 Maybe because they are in Lancashire/Lake District....... in the UK. Plus the title says British Red Squirrel. Suppose that's not enough info for you?
Loads of them in Germany. Best place to find them is cemeteries. There is one round the corner from us in Duisburg. We often go for a walk there on Sundays to watch the squirrels.
Your videos are like finding hidden gems,,, so wonderful and so relaxing and inspirational. Thank you so much for posting these gems. Talking of Gems,, ive recently had your 2022 Red Squirrel calender delivered,,, SO GOOD. "THANK YOU DANI ". Love the paw prints and sticker , nice little touch. All the best.
More beautiful scenery & more lovely pics of your squirrels. A beautiful area to stay & explore whether you are a photographer or a tourist. Patience is the name of the game for wildlife photography hence you are top of the game.
I like how you show your own actions during photography and filming. It takes us viewers more into this story, watching the squirrels and yourself like a spy, not being seen either by you nor by the animals.
Thank you for all these beautiful photographs. I often sit in my wheelchair for hours in the forest and absorb the smells and sounds around me. There is so much to perceive in this silence. There is life everywhere 🏳️🌈❤️
You don't even have to dive into the depths of the wilderness to observe animals. Many animals can also be observed in the green belt of the cities. You just have to sit patiently for a while and the first ones will appear very quickly. Our native red squirrels visit us regularly on the balcony and like to pick up their hazelnuts, which are lying there for them. I love squirrels 🙂
this is a really well produced video that’s right up there with anything you’ll see on mainstream TV, great videography and photography, and very well presented, Excellent work Dani, i thoroughly enjoyed watching it
What a lovely video & a lovely human for making this video ❤ I live in West Cumbria & there's a small wood 5mins walk away that has quite a few very friendly Reds. They're magical & never fail to make me smile. 😊
you are such a beautiful and special person in what you do and what you fight for. Thank you for making your videos available to viewers who don't have money too! Like me how can't be a patrion🙏♥️🙏
Thank you great video. Here in SW Scotland squirrel pox is a huge threat at present. I am lucky to have a small woodland and last week I counted 8 squirrels.
I love squirrels so much ❤️🐿. Luckily they come to visit me on my balcony a lot and of course I name them all. And their favourite food is a kind of porridge I make them fresh every day. It consists of grounded and chopped hazelnuts with a little water and a tiny amount of honey. Here in Germany we have plenty of red squirrels and in the south of Germany (where I live) also very beautiful black ones. The one with the blonde tail in your video was adorable (and clearly a mommy 🥰). I hope to see more of your brilliant videos in the future, Dani! 💖☺️
I was lucky enough to see Red's on Brownsea Island whilst visiting Poole Harbour on an Osprey spotting trip at the beginning of September. A first for me.
The music alone makes this video worth watching. It reminded me of New England around this time of year it's a great place for photographers to photograph the leaves changing color. You can check on Stephen King in Maine while you're in that region and have fresh Ben and Jerry's ice cream.
I thankfully have these wee guys in old woods up near the Moray Coast. Thanks for the amazing work you do in highlighting the plight of them and the great photos and film.
What a great video, I'm so happy to watch it, I'm totally thrilled by the Story and your professionell Photos. The landscape is so beautiful, see you soon in another Video 🧡 🐿 🧡
Fantastic video. I could sit and watch reds all day and have done a few times as I spent 8 years photographing them in England and Scotland. I’ve now moved to the conservation side and am involved with grey control in the north east trying to ensure we have colony’s of reds left for future generations to enjoy. We are now seeing reds on a property where only greys have been present for a few years so the work is paying off. Once again cracking video and looking forward to seeing more.
Hi Dani. I saw this video when you released it. Just wanted to let you know it truly inspired me. It’s taken a while, but I’m heading to the UK next month from Australia…. I have three nights booked at Forest Howe and am soooo hoping to see one of these precious squirrels in person. Thank you so much for showing me this beautiful corner of the world that I’ll soon be seeing in person 😊
Absolutely beautiful little critters and a cracking video, excellent Dani. All made possible by the North of England ; -) I've lived and travelled almost everywhere, there is no place like home X
What a great story Dani, I really love that woodland you were in and what a great guide you had. I've decided to make it a challenge to see a British Red Squirrel on my next trip across the pond. Thank you for the inspiration.
I recently found out you live near to us (near being relative the area anyway). Saw the airport in this video. I do night deliveries mostly in the countryside. I've been fortunate to have spotted a lot of rarer to see animals. Back in July I saw two younger badgers which surprised me. I had only thought Sweden had wolverines. The various deers. I have a Lynx, wolf and bear left on my mental checklist and I believe I'll have seen every animal here in the north.
I used to live in Freshfield formby by the squirrel sanctuary, and every morning when I looked out of my bedroom window our back garden was full of Red Squirrels 🐿.
Excellent film, thank you! I see lots of these wonderful little rascals in one of the local cemetaries where I live (Sweden), and I never get enough of them!
Thank you for the interesting video video, the squirrels study you with patients and I think they like you. Nice to see you again and squirrels. Bless you, Andi 👍.
Utterly Delightful Video Dani...... Just wonderful filming and the music was perfect.... Thank you for posting and I am looking forward to the next... :-)))) xxx
Thankful to have found this wonderful place today, where a lady with a big passion for little creatures lives and tells moving stories🌄 And my search for a vacant Patreon account is finally completed ✨

Oh Dani, you restore my hope in humanity with your love for our squirrel friends.
Browsing through RUclips for many years, I have often thought: "THIS is my favorite channel." But now I really have found it. Thank you!
Red squirrels are so adorably cute. I love their ear tufts! They remind me of the hairdo of a mad scientist 😁
Those little guys are so adorable. It's great that there is a survival trust for them in the UK. Here in Germany we see them a lot, thankfully.
M MM And how could you tell they were British? Did they have an Union Jack haircut?
@@Foxglove963 Maybe because they are in Lancashire/Lake District....... in the UK. Plus the title says British Red Squirrel. Suppose that's not enough info for you?

Same thing in Poland. I can go to the park near my home and find one or two within 30 minutes. But I know how rare the red squirrel are in Britain.
Loads of them in Germany. Best place to find them is cemeteries. There is one round the corner from us in Duisburg. We often go for a walk there on Sundays to watch the squirrels.
Lake District, Wordsworth, nature, romance, cute red squirrels all intertwined . Magical forest ❤️

I only found your channel a few days ago. I find it fascinating. I have already subscribed to your patreon to support what you are doing. Thank you.
I’m lucky that I live near Poole in Dorset. I can pop across to Brownsea Island, and see loads of them!
They say there are 140 K reds in Ireland, but I have only ever seen one .. a Beautiful little animal..
I love seeing these guys in the yorkshire dales i can quite happily sit there for hours watching them
You are amazingly patient! They could not have picked a better person to be an advocate for the Red Squirrels!🧡🐿
