    I love the regular red long PB Swiss ratcheting driver without the internal bit storage. That thing is incredible.

      Nice review, I have very little issue with spending money on quality tools and often do,as for backup tools or as what I call my remote tool kits, I tend to buy very similar performing but significantly less expensive hand tools, all usually researched as thoroughly as possible. One recent example is the dewalt ratcheting multi bit that has surprisingly little back drag but has,unfortunately a little wobble from the handle to the shaft,but at a $20.00 dollar price point it is easy to tolerate as a secondary tool,in no way does it even come close in quality to these two products you reviewed. I’ll have to check out the LTT and the MEGAPRO as another commenter mentioned. Thanks for sharing your insights.

    Screwdrivers are all very personal to each person. I knew someone who loved thoes dollar store spiney rubber handles. It's nice your finding what works for you.

      Thanks before I could resist the pb swiss 100mm with the bits in the handle. Now i had to order one and I like it because of thhe bit storage. Before I had the stubby and swiss grip version. Costing us money one tool at a time.

    The direction selector is not supposed to be 'left to go left'. Ratchet screwdrivers should be (and the vast majority are) setup so that you hold the selector and rotate the entire driver in the direction that you want to go. This is logical once you understand it and also prevents the direction being changed inadvertently if your working in a tight space and something rubs against the selector while you're turning the driver.

    The ltt is sorta like a mega pro and sorta like a snap on at the same time. But I think the pb Swiss Swiss grip is my favorite

    i just got my LTT screwdriver and the shank has 1 mm of play in and out of the body, sounds like nothing. But i looks and feels worse, and the clunk it makes when it hits the ends.
    does your guys behave the same??

    Thanks for the comparison.
    I would have bought the LTT driver, but it the fact that is uses non-standard bits is a deal breaker for me. It uses shorter bits. They could have made the driver 10-12mm longer and standard bits would have fit in the handle.

      @@NWGR I was using the standard bit from KC tool in it and it seemed fine ?

    • @NWGR
      @NWGR 16 дней назад +1

      @@StevesWoodshopandToolReviews I mean the bit storage in the handle; the bits that come with the LTT driver are shorter than standard 1" bits, so if you want to store standard bits (like your KC Tool bit) in the handle, you'll only be able to fit 6.

    I know it's objective but I really dislike the LTT driver. I don't like tri lobe designs much. I have multiple snap-on traditional hard-handled ratcheting screwdrivers, a Mac turbo speed ratcheting screwdriver, as well as a bunch of others. The Snap-on is far and away better for only $10 more off a truck or website. I've had one for 30 years and it still is working and doing its job. I personally don't care about bit holding much. I will always have a full assortment around and only need 3 or four bits onboard.

      @@nhbountyhunter it’s all personal prefi guess, this is the first time trying the tri handle and I like it, the only thing is the LTT looks like a $5.00 screwdriver . I mean if you’re going to sell it for 75.00 put some lipstick on that pig 😂
