Friendly suggestion is to try to fly fish sometime brotha. Sometimes it can be more effective than spinning tackle. But I can’t argue with pitching the panther Martin or rooster tail!! I do both 👍

your second trout looks like a cuttbow, a hybrid which is common for stock fish.
I've caught "blue" trout as well. I believe they are actually kokanee that got planted with the trout. if you look closely, they have all the characteristics of kokanee and fight like it too. great video.

Swap your hooks out for single I like the gamigazu the ones with a little bend with a split ring. The barbs are too small on treble hooks so as the fish thrashes it can easily pop out for easier release. With a upsized hook and a bigger barb it help go threw the side of the mouth or lips and stay pinned more. I swapped all my trebles out cause they bend or something. With a better hook you will be way happier. I pb is about 75 in 5 hours. Got a 6.4. Then had a day where I caught 9 all over 4 each in 30 minutes. Spoons and spinners all changed.

I wrote a comment on another video saying snaging is illegal in Washington state and once salmon stop feeding you can no longer fish for them according to the show "Rugged Justice" on Animal Planet. I was wrong, somebody said "that's a bunch of nonsense, I caught a lot of salmon on spoons during that period" and it turned into an argument. I am from Texas I know nothing about this, but I am planning to visit someday

    • @SamongOutdoors

Salmon don’t feed or (EAT) in the rivers, but they will bite out of aggression so most of the salmon fishing uses bring colors and vibrations to piss the fish off into biting because they are very territorial.

Check out the Washington Trails Association. You can use their ‘hike finder’ to search for hikes with a specific features, then finish scouting the area using OnX. They also have recent trail reports that you can read through for information about how buggy it is, the condition of the road to get to the trailhead, etc.
