Since its inception, well no, not really... but since packrafters started running white water, we've been engaged in a battle to convince 'real' boaters that packrafts are a sweeeeet way to access remote white water runs. Here are some tips, a 2010 summary, and carnage.

Watching it again maybe it's my favorite of the early packraft vids -- a classic befor they all went hollywood.
Yeah, once all the sponsorship money started coming in... couldn't get away with hockey helmets.
Funny, fun, and instructive.
Is packrafting an easier way for the average klutz e.g. moi ... to get onto the river vs learning to kayak? Also .. can ypu generally carry more gear on a pack raft vs say a kayak. And finally .. what happens if you capsize the craft .. are you are to pop out easily or what's the best procedure. Finally .. I am visiting American East coast ... any good rivers worth checking out. Thanka
