Really nice to learn about Bordon, my first pair is at the lasting stage according the update emails. I appreciate Andres changing up my order details even when I messaged him months after the order started. I was wondering about getting a Wanes in their natural W&C leather after getting my first pair from them and now I'm hoping we see the new changes soon.
Thanks for the interview Jeff & company,, definitely gonna watch after work., I know a girl who just got a pair from them and she said she was very impressed with the quality
I noticed each batch he sells, takes about 6 weeks to go through each stage. Cutting stage, Sewing stage, Lasting stage, etc. Mine are in the lasting stage after about 4 months. I suspect they'll be in the sole and finishing stage within the next 1-2 months. 4-6 months is common for handmade boots.
Great story. Useful insights. Interesting to learn about the new last.
This was very informative. I have a huge appreciation for what Bordon is doing! My second pair should be here on Monday!
