Nice, but firstly, we should focuse and manage the five times prayer a day. These are lacking or arent consisting in the majority part of the muslims. The night prayer then is a bonus.
If you pray the night prayer it will guard your 5 daily and it will motivate the one who doesn't pray the 5 day to start. So the night prayer should be prayed even if the 5 prayers are not consistent. It is a trick from shaytan to tell yourself to start the night prayer only when you fix the 5 prayers.
