Come back a record the Freightliners on coal now; what a pity there's so little steel, no iron ore and not much coal movements

Cross country must be the worst TOC company in the UK... Question me if you disagree...

+Scotrail 380114 Greater Anglia are much worse.

Well you could argue that but as you can probably tell by my name im not from there haha, but put it this way XC put a 5 car super voyager on that Cardiff Central service which is fair enough, but hold on, they put a 4 car voyager on the Aberdeen or Glasgow Central to Penzance and some how they think that is acceptable? I mean look at Virgin Trains they operate 9 or 11 cars from Glasgow to London which is roughly 500 miles? Which is completely acceptable, but seriously XC should be putting at least 8 car Voyagers on services from Glasgow or Aberdeen to Plymouth Penzance and the route that takes all adds up to around 700 miles, this is why i think XC is unacceptable in some ways!

Scotrail 380114 Distance of journey shouldn't reflect the length of the train in anyway. Trains to/from London are longer because they're busier routes, always. Arriva Trains Wales operate services from Milford Haven to Manchester with 2 coaches. That's almost 300 miles! Fact of the matter is that Cross Country services aren't busy for their entire journeys. How many people will be on that Voyager from Aberdeen all the way to Penzance. I bet on most days not a single person does the entire journey. Around the cities & during peak hours yes they get busy, but so does everything. I've been on XC voyagers from Glasgow to Edinburgh with no more 10 people per coach. I've been on voyagers where you can't get in or out because they're so busy, but I've been on Virgin Pendolino's like that too. They're not the worst operator just because they've got voyagers, don't be so childish. Their management is good, their operations are pretty good, their services are good and they actually invested money into bringing HST's back until Virgin who when they had the franchise got rid of them. So I seriously suggest you reconsider that claim! You may have had a few bad experiences around Scotland but believe me they cover way more ground off of Scottish territory.
