I got this one a few days ago. I was able to make a Junkasaurus Rex with Crashbar and Scraphook, thanks to a reddit post. It's very convincing as a fanmode combiner with only three figures and without needing extra copies of Junkions. Trashmaster by himself is "...okay" but the Evo-Fusion gimmick with his brother Junkions make it a great purchase.
He is a great addition to the Junkion line-up. I like that he feels more solid than Scraphook and Crashbar. The transformation is is great, and everything pegs in solid.
got this guy a couple a days ago in the middle of trying to finish up evolution before the holiday rush at this point just literary waiting for a few more to ship or arrive but Trashmaster is definitely a good figure and it dosn't hurt to build up the Junkions now if only Hasbro would hurry up and shipped my Nemesis , Dion , Ariel and Deathsurus , I can finally be done with evolution .
The way I head canon the size difference is that the Junkions don't mass shift, they all transform into Cybertronian scaled motorcycles, while the others transform into "human" scaled vehicles. That's why the cycles are so much bigger. And it makes sense. They are made out of junk, right? So it's not like they'd have access to the best technology.
"or what they're called in Europe, a bin lorry" No. Only the UK uses the word "lorry". The rest of Europe uses "Garbage truck" (when speaking English) or the local language equivalent of "garbage truck/vehicle"
He great thou I like the idea of putting the front of the truck on his shoulders instead of as a butt flap it just seems like a lazy finish to a great bot thou I wish he actauly had a front forks for those arms on the side like a real garbo truck other wise a great Bot and Junkion member.
When you remove the arms and transform him, he makes a wicked mad max flatnose cabover. But overall he doesnt look like a garbage truck, just a junkyard rig and i still love it
Honestly, with the trashtruck mode, the colors, and that chin, this almost feels like nod to the hypothetical lovechild of Animated Wreck-Gar andnBulkhead.
I was originally disinterested in the Junkions. After seeing some fan-builds for a Junkasaurus or Junkzilla, my opinion is changing. But I'm out of shelf space.😕

This guy looks like such a good figure, but I really want a rescue bots salvage out of it. I also intend to get the inevitable lockdown axlegrease, so maybe I’ll get all the junkion repaints
Unfortunately the Hasbro designers have cited several issues with the Scraphook, Towline, and Axelgrease molds. They’re on record as having no plans to revisit those molds and they will be focusing on the Rock Lord dudes exclusively in the future. 😅

Do you think Trashmaster will be retooled into members of the build team from Car Robots? I can very easily see him used to make Heavy Load.
