I guess its for players without Jets or Light tank. A last resort to do AA which sucks due to load time and weak against Bombers. It would have been useful if it has same load time as Light Tank AA and able to do AA while garrisones.
LT ag slaughter HC ag, and HC ag slaughter mbt ag, and mbt slaughter LT. I’ve even met people saying that their LT can beat my mbt, I don’t believe it but never got to try

Hi. I asked the help desk if lite tanks and atg can hit attacking bombers while in the base and got this answer. “When your light tank is switched to AA Mode, it can attack aircraft while stationed. However, Anti Tank Gun cannot be switched to AA Mode while stationed.”
We need units 12.0 and Walls lvl 800 each please report to Lilith and SkyFortress 12.0 why is this game so free make it more p2w everybody wants to pay pleaseeee liebe

Many of the atg units in real life are anti air. If it says flak in its name then it is anti air

L tanks ruined the entire balance environment of the game due to how the health dps is set up. They were a mistake to begin with

i thought the light tank only fired out of the base in AA if you had AA preselected prior to garrison. because the ATG cant do that
Ya, they need to power 400%-500% against Air Force. It takes 1 attack of a bomber to kill light tank. Not fair fight. Light tank is way underpowered.
Lights are fast and good at killing helis which are meta so a light is good to have, sometimes I wish I had light instead of mbt
does it matter for the light tank if he is garrisoned or if he stands next to the base shooting at the bomber?
Some tech and skills add extra damage if garrisoned

My LT will show damage seperate from base damage in the report against air. Maybe reports were not working right in test server?
Really lilith... make the atg be multi purpose when garrisoned
You shouldve tried it on the field aswell and compare the damage of the light with the damage o the AA not the base damage
He did (or someone else) and the atg is way more effective then light tank
