Thanks to Mike for lending me his Steinway VSL for the piano sound this time! Tell me what you think down in the comments in comparison to my original mastered CFX in my live cover. Mike's channel: ruclips.net/channel/UC2tCMDGVYuCVimLT8rbL8AA
Wow, this is amazing!! It feels even more intense! So beautiful! Glad your friend let you borrow that, because it's cool for the people that are trying to learn it to see the timing and how long to hold the notes! I don't know how to play the piano at all, but it's so cool and your video is good!! 👏✨💗🥺💖
Now this .... this is pure hype! Comparing to the older version really shows the insane progress; I'm seriously impressed after seeing it side by side. Your dynamics are nothing short of a bliss to the ears. The arrangement flows so much better and feels so much more powerful thanks to the more "free" patterns/figures you were able procure thanks to the many arpeggios and the tuplets (if my ears did not deceive me). It definitely feels like show-off at times but holy shit did it work well and gave this such an explosive touch. Amazing job Louis, this was really refreshing to listen to! :D
Yep, tuplets exist in this! Although I sped over them so fast that they might be difficult to pick up by ear. With all the add-ons, it almost feels like I played the piece faster than my original video, but it's the same tempo; the old one just feels very empty by comparison.
Garritan also sounds great from your previous video, but there’s a lot more fullness, volume, and clarity in this new VST that I think is very effective for this cover! Love it :DD
I'm back to this video (because I like this VST bit more than Garritan) and ofc this amazing performance. Good luck with your next project! meanwhile, I repeat this video😁😁
That's great my dear friend 🙌🏻🎹 Awesome idea with your revisiting series I really enjoy! Hooe your hands recovered now wit the time fully? You play incredible well 👏🏻👏🏻
Mike's one not bad either, but personally I like your original one better, it somehow captures your touch and dynamic better imo, also contains that Hayashi sound/element
I understand, but I'm just talking about my own content relative to my current skill level. 8 months ago, I was very happy to have been able to make that cover because it was appropriate for my skill level then. In no way am I shaming myself or anyone; it's just a joke (but ofc, I'm still very proud of the progress obviously).
Shoot I'm late... But great job! Anyway, maybe it's just me but the Synthesia vid really shows off the difficulty and every thought of me wanting to attempt your arrangement is completely gone now XD No offence but I prefer your previous CFX because I feel it's more "natural", there's too much reverb (if that's the correct term) in this CFX imo.
I also prefer my previous sound hahaha And yeah, no, with practice, you can definitely nail those arpeggios! It helps that it's in an easy key as well.
@@HayashiStudios I guess there's no harm trying, I'll put that on my list then. When the sheets come out (which I'm assuming it hasn't because I can't find it in your Google Drive), I'll definitely have a look. Just a suggestion, maybe you can differentiate the LH and RH using different colours or something. I won't lie, seeing the same colour for both hands messes up my mind haha.

Interesting, it seems most preferred my softer and more nuanced sound vs this brash and deeper one!
omg your original one was already epic, but this one is O_O
Thank u Ryannn

I agree; I like my own sound better (ofc). I think overall the oomph that comes with VSL is definitely attractive to a lot of mainstream people tho.
It's very nice ♪
have a nice day!

Man mastered it faster than Goku obtaining MUI in the TOP.
😳😳😳
its not trash tho... some people that can't even do like yours, probably will sad to hear that 👀
