@@lindsayiflyfish If I had to pick 2 months to be sat at home it would be these two . Im confident I will get it all back if we re open in March just in time for the buzzer season !
Cracking pattern, black green is top colour combination on my local still water, have tied this fly but added two black and green rubber legs on the top with great effect, love your videos, keep up the good work.
Thanks for sharing Lindsay a nice change from other fly’s using the same colour combo and one I will definitely have a go at tying. I think Jim is right organza would have a similar effect and we Scots are a canny bunch (tight arsed)
Very nice lure Lindsay!! Was tying some shuggies and blue tinsel damsels yesterday, found some nice cheap narrow holographic tinsel to try out, worked really good, put SNOWINSPRING Hair Tinsel Strands Kit on an Amazon search and you'll see it. Keep safe and keep them coming Lindsay!! ATB Chris.
I have to agree pal, not sure it will generate the type of movement I like in my lures. Interesting material though and I am sure there will be other applications.
Hi Lindsay, Happy New Year, I like this dressing , quite clever use of the pseudo hackle. Being a canny Scot like yourself I will be having a look in the haberdashery department of John Lewis to see if they have any organza ribbon in various colours, I’m sure it will be a lot cheaper than pseudo hackle, I think I’ve seen you use organza on another dressing if not you then D McP. Thanks again for another great video, all the best Jimf.
I bought two bottles about three years ago from Funky not finished them yet so not sure who stocks it anymore. It is Solarez Bone Dry, if I cant get it I will wash out the bottle and decant whatever resin I move onto into that bottle. I find the little brush indispensable. If you do source some please let me know ;-)
Thats a fish catcher right there ! Nice tie mate .
Thanks Pal 👍 I hope this new lockdown doesn't impact too badly on the guiding pal.

I like this variation. Fairly easy to tie and should ‘swim’ nicely! Thx Lindsay.
Glad you like it!

Great tip Chris, you know I like a bargain!
Great video. Great instructions. Will have to give it a go here in Utah.
Please do!
Hi Lindsay, found the Solarez on Amazon along with many colours but the price is eye watering!
Oh wow, it was about £20.
Not going to be one of my favourite patterns but “liked” anyway because I love the Woolly Bugger..... Thanks for another one dude.

Happy new year Jim, I will look out for some of the organza ribbon when the shops are back open.
Nice fly :)
Thanks again!
Would be good to see a review of the FNF Talon 👍🏻
Mark, I will do but just want to give it a month or so tying on it so that I can give a comprehensive review.
Look forward to it 👍🏻
Is this anything like organza ribbon?
I believe so pal the organza is probably a lot cheaper ;-)
Hi Lindsay, where do you get your Solarez from if thats what it is, cant find it anywhere in the bottle. Cheers Roger
