"There is a critical need for bridge-builders" ~ Amen, Mr. Abrams, Amen! Just because we don't all think exactly the same doesn't discredit our ability to work together, and appreciate the things we DO have in common. I love the efforts that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is making, along with the efforts of each of the other churches/ religions as well. Together, united we stand, divided we fall.

Absolutely correct. A key component of living by faith is to honor God without having all the answers. This naturally leads to different understandings about God and our relationship with deity, and we honor God by loving all his children regardless of differences in religious understanding.

There is love and hate all over this land and we have to choose what will rule us
There is no way you can try to deceive us with a different speech for God than another for yourself if everything isso revealed. I feel great relief with the joy of heaven to see the apostles and leaders coming together for the future of this earth and the kingdom of God

what a wise and brilliant individual. Thank you for fighting for our religious liberties! I hope we can come together and converse rather than argue. I hope thay we may unite together, as believers in God as well as Jesus Christ, so we may continue to make the world a better place.

We should all work hard to gain more love, and understanding for each other, as spiritual brothers and sisters. We are all the offspring of God, and should follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, who instructs us to love God, and even our enemies. This man who received the award sounds like a wonderful man.

But Jews today no nothing of Jesus or even reconise him. At least Mohammed gave credit to Jesus.

@@Cyrusmagi try to build a bridge, rather than a wall. If you are just here to sow discord, then you may want to watch the video again. Love and the true charity of Christ can reveal stronger links and bonds of brotherhood (and sisterhood), if you are willing to have eyes that see and ears that hear.

Elder Cook needs to honor his calling and call them to repentance. They need to forsake their apostate Talmudic traditions that keep them from accepting Jesus Christ.

What did Jesus have to say about lawyers? Nothing positive, particularly Jewish lawyers!
One thing latter day saints and Jews have in common regarding religious liberty is that latter day saints treat the New Testament as secondary scripture and Jews respect it not at all.

As someone who is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I disagree.
Jesus didn't say what He did about the Jewish lawyers because they were Jewish, nor because they were lawyers...He said it because of their individual character and intent. He was very respectful of a diverse range of individuals who weren't like them in the respect that their intents weren't corrupt.
He also says to "Love one another as I have loved you".
Was He biased against hanging out with the lowest of people? No. He hung out with a wide variety of different people.
We should not be so hasty to judge someone because of their position or religion.
