On Arvia in April at the port of La Spezia they were checking photo IDs so many people hadn't listened and didn't have it. Wonder if it's an Italian thing.
Nightmare that you couldn't get into Rome, but a nice wander of Civitavecchia (we're going to have to learn to say it too as that's our embarkation port!) we are liking the look of Costa. We think as long as you do your homework and don't rock up expecting P&O - it will be great. Cheers 🍻

We aren’t sure. We were in Italy a few weeks ago and nobody checked. Might be a random search thing.
