That is the kind of estate sale that Christmas collectors dream about and the best part of it is that you got to shop early which is almost unheard of. I would have been in that house for hours and would have needed to rent a uhaul truck to take it all home. Congratulations on that super estate sale adventure!

as for the kite man, who you are thinking of is Benjamin Franklin who legend tells used a key attached to a kite to harness lightening, he was the inventor of lightening rods. Still a neat little weirdo for any collection! What an awesome treasure haul. I don't get excited over Christmas and some of those little angels had me gasping and smiling!
I just wish I could find an estate sale like that!! I would happily plunk down $500 for all of that fantastic vintage Christmas, Halloween and Easter!!

I would say the candles with the cloth cords are likely 1940's. And yes, watch the Mazda bulbs, they burn HOT!! Great haul ladies!

It was such a joy to see all of these old Holiday items. I was born in 1961 so I grew up with many of these things. Last year my cousin gifted me a big box filled with mostly shiny brite ornaments. I am just starting to really get into vintage Christmas. I have learned so much from You guys. Thanks so much for your videos.. I just love them.
Now I am chomping at the bit to dig for vintage Christmas. I did rescue some pixie elves that are torn and laying in the dirt at a hoarder sale. For me, “ no pixie left behind”

The small angel with the star wand is Holt Howard. I found one this summer at a community yard sale and love her. I am keeping mine in my collection, I can"t sell her! I did not know it was Holt Howard until I looked it up.

The plastic Halloween, bunny, and snowman picks, I remember, were put upon cupcakes. My grandma would bring them to us when she frequented most any bakery here in Western NY such as Burzynskis Bakery in the early to mid sixties. Funny, once I saw them, how I could just about taste them again!

You guys will be so proud of me… i fount a old fashioned blow mold of a pumpkin that’s 2 feet tall for free that someone tried to throw away and it worked. It’s just a tiny bit faded.
This was THE BEST HAUL EVER!!! I was born in 68 near Easter. I have a picture somewhere of cupcakes with those Easter bunny picks in them really make me feel old.. lol

Holy cow! I kept saying”grab it grab that”! I have several of those Santas they are all great!You could use wavy wool on the Santa dolls beard ,he’s my favorite piece of the whole haul because he was well loved.

Yes... you scored! I personally always go back a second time before the sale ends as people will miss small gems. Prices are usually reduced then also. I think $500 for all of that was a great deal. Most often you have to spend more to make more.

About a quarter way through your video. Just commenting on the plastic birds. They are for the Christmas tree (feet clip onto branches). They are from the 1940’s early 50’s (per my collectors book), no maker mentioned in my book. Also thanks for my giveaway gift….(mishkawaterskigrl), from Whatnot. Can’t wait to get my Santa! You two are so lucky! You find the most wonderful things. I wonder if it's because you live in an older part of the country. Idk. Laura, when you were looking around, in the house, my jaw would drop, and my eyes would bug out (lol), every time you turned. You just kept finding amazing things. And then, the haul! I just couldn't believe all the great things. I have to admit, I am sssooo jealous. We just don't find things like that here. And, the estate sale companies are so strict. They don't take questions over the phone. I don't even think they take customer calls, at all. Have a great weekend, you two!

This was an amazing Estate Sale. I could not believe all of the Halloween and Christmas items. I love the Holt/Howard items. I loved everything in this haul. It was so much fun seeing all of these things.

The sweet anthomorphic fish shakers is my favorite, out of everything y'all got. That set is possibly the best fish salt and pepper set I've ever seen

One of the masks that you had but left behind was a princess mask and I had that as a little girl. I was probably around 5 or 6 years old. I was born in 1963 so that mask was from either 1969 or 1970. That was a flash back to my little years memories. Thanks for all your videos. I love you guys.
This would definitely make me want to decorate for Christmas now! What a gift to have been able to buy things early and be able to take your time. So many amazing treasures! I can't get over all the blow molds that were tucked in boxes. The santa double face and the cookie jar are both on my list for finding. Congrats friends. I think the "Snowman with the kite" might actually be an alcoholic/ tramp hanging on to a lamp post. It's a vintage motif I've seen around, not necessarily Christmassy haha

This was an amazing haul ! Some of the decorations brought back memories of my childhood. I always looked forward to the Christmas coloring books ! I'm sure you already know this, but careful cleaning with "Magic Eraser" it has been known to remove paint. Ben Franklin flew the kite with a key during an electrical storm,I don't think it was Thomas Edison. New subscriber.

Great finds. I had the noel angels and I got over $100. for them but they were in very good condition.
I swear on all things holy, I was moseying through estate sales online while watching this video and at the exact moment I clicked on the picture of the flat of Santas in the berry box was the same moment your purchase of said berry box o' Santa appeared on my t.v. "Welp, guess that ain't there no more"
But, so glad you ladies got all of this stuff. Because, if it wasn't going to be me, at least it's someone who will document it all on video so I could go back and periodically admire it.
