My advice would be get a bungy leash from the paddle to the nose , tie it to the side handle , then go through the front handle and back to you in the seat , that way if you come off , it will pull the nose of the kayak into the swell not side on and break the bungy . It's important when you're a long way out to stay in contact with the kayak , it's easier to kayak back to the beach than swim back to the beach , and enjoy the learning process we've all been there
brilliant video bud. well done on pushing forward. some advice on the umloti "swim". practice getting your ski right side up. its a push pull action. it key to getting back on your ski quickly in the midbreak. second one is when beaching in that area, dont be tempted to turn toward the beach site too early. rather come in perpendicular to the beach then turn just before you hit the shore break. there is usually a very flat zone there. well done again and see you on the water this weekend. its tuna time 💪💪💪
