IMO, this clip doesn't make much sense to me. 1. The plant, a poached fissuratus, has been transplanted into a narrower pot which will leave the soil wet longer than the wider one; 2. The roots did not hold soil and seemed to be in great distress (they are twisted, instead of sinking into the ground), and the capillary roots are completely missing, which indicates that the soil was not suitable for that species of cactus; 3. The soil has not been changed, so you will add the problems of point 1 to those of point 2. I would like to know the current conditions of the plant.
@@thevendingmachine2740 high probability he doesnt even know that. he just said that for likes, probably. Hes probably a redditor (this make sense, lot of redditors are like this).
@dodopuipui1440 it does look poached but who knows. They're right about the roots though. It was just the bare tap root when he took it out. Wasn't growing into the soil.
Grt Wrk on the Repotting . I was nerves just knowing the Cactus is 60yrs Old. I'd feel the same way!! ..been there ! Whether its Age or Value ! it's in our hands now ...hahaha. Like how you're switching Up the " Balcony Boys " from plastic pots to Clay/ Terra cotta pots ....Thanks for the Share . Cactus On!

Thank you!!! And yup, I usually switch them as soon as I get them but I’ve been waiting on summer to do all my repotting. Thanks for watching!
Great Cactus collection! 💚👍
Much appreciated!
I really like that dirt delivering scoop. really smart.
Thanks!
Looks great! I love the sandy top dressing! Keep us the awesome videos it’s appreciated!
Thank you for watching!
You are Pro! Congratulations and greetings from Mexico
Thank you for watching!!!
Did you replace the soil or add fertilzer balls to it?
Yes
Those are very slow growing even for ariocarpus, have you been watering them with acidic water?
Looks good in its new pot 🌵💛🌵
Thank you!!!
Hey do you still have this? Not to come off upfront but would you sell this one? Pleeaaaseeee
Nice! But it has no roots, in must be dry and in shade for 2-3 months👍
How do you know it is 60 yrs old? Lots of these are poached so it sucks to think it could be stolen from its native habitat.
Just going by what I was told from the seller, James.
A 60 year old plant deserves a clean & bit bigger pot. New soil as well.
My plant = my decisions 🤙🏽
did it survive the transplant? I just killed one🤕 do you have any care tips?
It did thankfully!! Only care tip would be not direct sun 🔋
@@plantmanp ok so that is how I killed😪 it SUN
🪦
I thought you repot and change the soil
Super
Thanks!!
Muito bom👏🏿👏🏿
No way that ariocarpus has 60 years old maybe 15-20 and looks poached
I really don't think this one is 60 years old maybe only 20 fisuratos doesn't grow that fast
Can I buy that
No :)
60 years??? 😂😂😂
Maybe graft ...
How is he doing? Does he not resent the change?
🤔
hasn't grown much but he's still here and that's all that matters haha
Good to know 🥰
