Jessica provided a good, direct analysis of the topic; David rambled on about what his firm does with cryptocurrency. I tuned in to hear about semiconductors, not what his firm suggests instead of semiconductors. I get plenty of crypto analysis elsewhere.
Dave is always talking about leverage ETF'S lol. I've had a satellite position of SMH in my growth account for a few years. Very impressive gains. Enjoyed watching Ron 👍
John: Congrats on getting in early on the semiconductor train. Shortages aside, the EV boom and digitalization of cars/SUVs should provide more wind in the industry's sail. I've got an upcoming interview with Dave. Gonna take a deeper dive into his investable benchmarks, cryptos, leverage, etc. Good to see you again! Best, Ron
I would appreciate it if Dave stayed true to the battles instead of promoting his coin etfs for each battle he is featuring. Wildcards should be relatable to the category battle not what has performed the best out of his portfolio.
Hi Ron, I love this show! I would like to request an ETF Battle between IWY and QQQ. If possible, I would like to see David Kreinces and Mike Akins, as judges. Thank you!
Marv: I think IWY vs. QQQ is an interesting growth investing matchup. I'll run it by our judges. Glad you're enjoying the show and stay tuned! Warm regards, Ron #ETFBattles
That’s a leveraged ETF not generally good for long term holdings, it’s only for daily changes you should look into it more if you hold a lot of it it’s risky
Sounds like something Peter Lynch would have said. But I wanted to congratulate your channel on the million views. I've had semiconductor ETFs on my list, but I have to wait and sell something before I buy anything. When the quarterly dividends are paid, that brings a little to the pot to invest.
Dave: You've been with us from the start. And now that you're still here, I want to personally thank YOU. It's really loyal viewers like you that deserve the applause. Our job is to deliver content that investors want to see - and more importantly, help move the needle in their favor when it comes to profitable outcomes. Thanks again for the kind words, Ron #ETFBattles
I love this channel and content but there are 2 things I think that should change. 1 the analyst need more time to speak, 30 sec is not enough time to get a point across. 2 that beep noose when timer runs out is extremely annoying it feels like my phone is dieing every 30 sec.
Alf: We appreciate your feedback and glad you're enjoying #ETFBattles. FYI, we just started Season 3 (2022), so be sure to check out our weekly episodes. Don't forget to send us your ETF tickers if there's a matchup you'd like to see. Take care, Ron
What does crypto have to do w semiconductors? He's pumping his Eth crypto bags. Stick to the 4 ETFs up for discussion. SMH all the way. AMD just came out w a new AI chip. The battles will heat up. I'm staying invested in the sector based on Moore's Law - computing power doubles every 2 years. Semiconductors are inside everything today and it will only keep going.
The current '22 environment is much different vs. when we originally did this particular ETF Battle. Tech and growth stocks are now out of favor whereas defensive stocks like utilities and value are in favor. As such, growth oriented stocks and sectors are likely to remain under pressure. Thanks for watching! Ron

Redo this comparison video now after market selloff in last few months. NVDA has been loss making stock for many ETFs and potentially with headwinds these ETFs may struggle to grow. AVGO and QCOM will likely grow and ETFs with large holding of these will perform better than large positions for NVDA.

@@joeypedone3952 Exactly. I swear if there was a low volatility battle he'd still pick triple leavage.
I'm thinking of getting this ETF, what is your experience with Vaneck and it's other ETFS.
I am going with SMH today.... decent returns..
How's it been going for you? I'm thinking of purchasing some shares

David must be reading from a script.
I really like USD Proshares Ultra Semiconductor. Was hoping they would have been included in this list.
That’s a leveraged ETF not generally good for long term holdings, it’s only for daily changes you should look into it more if you hold a lot of it it’s risky
What about proshares semiconductors etf?? It has given highest returns in last 5 years.
SOXQ!!
Been dumping money into SMH, AMD, NVDA, GBTC, & ETHE
You did good!

@@etfguide ETFs are my favorite thing and you are scratching my itch, Ron. :) I like your guests and process.
I’m looking for a dividend paying etf. I have $400 in capitol to start. I’m looking at SPHD vs DON.. any other suggestions?
JEPI monthly paying
SCHD/VYM
MLPA DVYE
SDIV
Schd
SCHD is great
Isn't TQQQ bad for long term holding?
Yup it decays, TQQQ is not a buy & hold, more of a day/swing trade.
Exactly it’s sad how many get duped into it long term I almost did

Hi there. Any idea which ETF would be better? S&P 500 IT Sector VS regular S&P500 vs NASDAQ? Would be an interesting battle.
Hi Adam, what ticker ETF ticker symbols do you wanna see face each other? Thanks, Ron #ETFBattles
I like xlk, smh, schg and splg.
What you guy's think about this ETF's in current situation??? Plzz make video

Can we get bkch, blok, rigz....torn between which will provide the most growth
Looks like a good matchup! BTW, RIGZ will be featured on our upcoming September episode of First Look ETF. Don't miss it. Take care, Ron

The only investor who should not diversify is the one who is always 100% right.
John Templeton
Since there is no such investor,
we need a quadtruple header. TQQQ, SOXL, GBTC, ETHE. RIGHT THE F NOW!
Tiger: Quadtruple? Is that like what happens after a quintuple and quadruple mate? A quardtruple is born?! Love it, Ron #ETFBattles

This is a hot mess. I want to hear about specific ETFs...not "wild cards" and random thoughts. Ugh.
ok i like this
Split decision on Geogre Soros and Peter Lynch
A
It wasn't Peter Lynch, but nice try. More trivia coming, stay tuned! Thanks Marlond, Ron #ETFBattles

Great choice with SOXQ!!!
Peter Lynch is the one he talks too much
