Oh Heidi, I'm always glad to see you. I know that I will always get sound advice from you my stitchy friend! ❤ Love the red! I'm heading to my knit/crochet group this morning. Mostly I make teensy time premie hats for the neonatal unit. They are quick; therefore, satistying. Your blanket loop for hanging made me laugh: a feat first thing in the morn, pre-coffee ☕
Heidi, Your friend Staysea here. So great to see your face again and hear your voice. I do love your shirt today. I am partial to Red. Funny you should be stitching a UFO, considering the state of the skies and people’s common opinion these days. I love the blanket. I do need to dive into a new one. It’s been a long while since I attempted one. The Four seasons stitch looks great on that color. I’ve contemplated full coverage many times. Each time I rethink it. Because I don’t like nightmares. I absolutely love Repeating Floral, Heidi. That’s full coverage. That doesn’t scare me so much. I’ve been chatting with Jacob quite a bit lately. He’s such a wonderful chap. I’ve also added a couple new MFEs to my stash. Not to mention… you’re gonna just think I’m crazy! Cuz I think I’m crazy but I’ve added two more Long Dogs. What was I thinking. Obviously that I’m rich. I couldn’t help myself. My goodness. So that’s 3 long dogs in progress in addition to 24 other wips. I think Victorian would be a good addition to the package. It’s so good to know you are well. I was worried about you. 🎁🎄💕❄️🙏
I always enjoy spending time with you. My Mom and Grandma both made Peanut Brittle at Christmas and likely used the same Betty Crocker recipe. They each had a well worn copy of that cookbook. I’m in agreement on video length, it takes as long as it takes! 😊 One of my sisters has 2 HAEDs going on. 😱 They hold no appeal to me but I do love an involved and complex project. I’ll stick to samplers for now. You made good progress on your Barbara Ana Winter girl! Wishing you all the best in the New Year, Heidi. 🎉❤
Oh my goodness! Thank you once again for the shout out! Everytime you mention me I beam with pride 😊 I could watch you talk about cross stitch for hours! All the vintage patterns are beautiful but strawberries seems like the most fun to stitch. Another word for game-changer could be revolutionary. 🤷
Love seeing your videos come up! You are better than trudeau... I have plans - I have 6 projects - one I will finish in January, Forest Castle for my Grandson; one new start when that is finished - Tree of Life by Yasmin; one more finish in Feb - Bluebird Sampler by Shannon Christine; one new start - Dryad Sketch, a HAED - no background. My other projects I will work on one day each till finished - or not - maybe till I'm tired of them. I don't like stress, don't care for have-to's... just want to stitch. Life is good! Have joyful stitching everyone!
I guess I should have pushed a little harder lol. But full coverage is not for everyone. I love it and love how the picture comes together. Love all your projects. Have a happy new year.🎉🎉🎉
I did a search for game changer synonyms. Few of my favorites are tipping point, revolutionary, and shake-up. The strawberry chart should be included. Happy stitching!
You mentioned Kaffe Fassett, and I just heard of him for the first time earlier today from another youtuber. In the video, there was a short tour of his quilting studio in London. And now you are speaking of him.
Hope you have had a wonderful Christmas/Holiday. Always look forward to your videos, never know what your going say. I don’t make plans either, I stitch what I want, when I want, not when I am supposed to. I am not opposed to learning new stitches so I am voting for Strawberry. Happy New Year!!
Oh my…you apologized for an apology. I am so surprised…yet you are human. I will make a plans video but there will be much flexibility in my plans so I can stitch what I want when I want without guilt. Happy New Year Heidi…I am so glad you are making videos. 🦉👍🧵🪡
Had forgotten about peanut brittle! My dad loved it when I was a child and he’s been gone for so many years I hadn’t even thought about it. Talk about down a rabbit hole, you’ve sent me on a peanut brittle journey?
A belated merry Christmas to you, and a happy new year! 🥳 I’ve caught a cold, my first since before ‘the virus’ (I did catch that last year when I broke my hip and had a couple of weeks in hospital, but had no symptoms at all, I think I must have caught it in A&E, as I was in a corridor for 24 hours… NHS problems!). As I was feeling cruddy I didn’t phone any of my family - so I haven’t spoken to another human since Monday, as no one has phoned me - I thought on of the nephews or nieces might phone as I sent them all £50 each to chose a gift, or one of my 9 siblings, or one of my parents - but sadly not. So I think I might leave all my money to the local scout troupe as they messaged me on Christmas Day to have a good one! From your patterns I like the first two strawberry and peace, but my favourite is the homespun one as I am looking for something like that for a ‘cottage-core’ friend! :-)
Good to see you❤. I’m not making any plans either and my only goal is to stitch what makes me happy. I am going to start a blessing sampler (although all my samplers are a blessing). I don’t really care if I finish it in January - my blessings are not at all dependent upon my stitching. I hope to see you often in 2025❤ wishing you more blessings than you can count in 2025❤❤
Oops, me again. Just so you know I am doing a Heaven and Earth called Journey Over Ohm. It is 335,700 stitches. I am 44.84% finished & have put in 804 hours so far. I am 70 … taking bets on if I will finish it before I can’t stitch anymore.😊
I'm 71... I'll bet on you! If you will bet on me - Dryad Sketch - 412,000 sts.... love this chart! Won't start till I finish one other in January. I'm wanting to stay with 5 pieces at a time. No planning.
Ah yes, the full coverage dilemma. I love the artwork quality and actually have 2 going right now. Hopefully, I will finish them before I die, lol. Artecy is my least favorite due to the massive confetti stitching. One of mine is by Artecy the other by Heaven and Earth. Confetti in both by the Heaven and Earth seems to make more sense. They sit looking at me every day if I dare pick up another project but sometimes you just need a break from full coverage. I like the Peace chart Regarding SALs, I know, I know, they sound good at first and then meh. I joined a Mer-sal for 2025, got the fabric, floss and border printed out. I saw a sneak peek of January and was not excited, which means I will not keep up with it. Better to know now rather than half way through.
Instead of 'game-changer', how about...'Well that's different.' May I suggest no more 'early on.?' What is the point of the 'on?' It makes no sense to me. I like...'I did it earlier.' But I did it 'early on'...(shudder)...nails on a blackboard.
I agree the word "gamechanger" gives the wrong information. The game stays the same, but it's the point of view that changes. So, I think we could start calling it "paradigm shift". Wouldn't that be better? 🪡🇳🇱🌷
I bet you are a fantabulous grandmother ❤
And I love that you don't shy away from an enormous project! I applaud you❤
strawberry is awesome love trying out new stitches. the heart of flowers is gorgeous.
I love your rabbit holes. The Expanse book series is one of my favorites and that chart is sheer genius!
Peace be with you and your family!
Homespun. Love your videos, never ever miss watching 😊
You make me so happy. I love everything about your channel. Happy New Year and happy stitching!

Lovely projects i love seeing your progress, i just love the strawberry sampler, would be lovely to try all those new stitches.
Enjoy you floss tubes so much! Victorian. 😊
❤As long as it needs to be and no longer❤
Always love your videos. Thank you
🥳🎉HAPPY NEW YEAR🎉🥳

Strawberry Sampler should be included. Can't wait to see the fabric you select for Let Freedom Ring! Happy New Year!
Hi Heidi, you make my heart happy my dear lady! hmmm Game-Changer aka Turning Point? Happy New Year!
Homespun brings me lots of happy memories! It was a joy spending time with you. You watch some great floss tubes. Happiest stitching ❤❤
I always enjoy spending time with you. My Mom and Grandma both made Peanut Brittle at Christmas and likely used the same Betty Crocker recipe. They each had a well worn copy of that cookbook.

The PEACE pattern!!

I just started Santa of the Forest on Christmas day. Loving it!

You have got to be the funniest of the flosstuber. You ALWAYS make me laugh!! Peace is the best of these ‘vintage’ patterns!!
I think peace. But I like them all. I love your videos.
Heidi, for being so new to cross-stitching, you have a lot of knowledge. I say Strawberry
You mentioned Kaffe Fassett, and I just heard of him for the first time earlier today from another youtuber. In the video, there was a short tour of his quilting studio in London. And now you are speaking of him.

Love your podcasts, and the fact that you apologized for your apology. All the vintage cross stitches are nice. The Victorian especially.
Betty Crocker is hard to beat! I’m a prolific holiday baker and many of my favorite recipes are straight up Betty.
Oh my…you apologized for an apology. I am so surprised…yet you are human. I will make a plans video but there will be much flexibility in my plans so I can stitch what I want when I want without guilt. Happy New Year Heidi…I am so glad you are making videos. 🦉👍🧵🪡

My vote is strawberry. I stitched many charts by Hillside Samplings over the years. I was sad when she quit designing.
Change direction in place of that hyphenated word👍
A belated merry Christmas to you, and a happy new year! 🥳

I enjoy your videos, can't help with the game-changer synonym.
Your voice is very familiar, were you ever an audiobook narrator?
Alternative
How about "turning point" instead of the expression that shall not be uttered?
Always enjoy your videos! Can we also get rid of the word 'bespoke' for 2025? Another overused word, in my opinion.
Instead of 'game-changer', how about...'Well that's different.' May I suggest no more 'early on.?' What is the point of the 'on?' It makes no sense to me. I like...'I did it earlier.' But I did it 'early on'...(shudder)...nails on a blackboard.
