Thanks to ChatGPT for most of that video description. Leaving it as it is to see if it works better than the ones I write!
WOW, you handled that boat like a pro😎 jumping and flying down wind! Can't wait for the next video!
Thanks Harrison, not so much a pro, maybe a big person that was trapezing in the right spot for a little bit!
Brilliant video, makes me want to try one even more!!
Thanks, you should give it a crack!
Looks awesome 😊 thanks for your fantastic Videos
Thanks for watching!
Solid effort for a first sail!
Thanks Scott! Might have been a few capsizes that didn’t make it into the video 😉
Looking forward to seeing you there! We will be in the B14. Love the videos!
Thanks, I’ll see you there!
Could you please give me your opinion.
So I’m watching this series again cause I’m looking at upgrading my 44yr old contender and can’t make up my mind between a newer contender and musto skiff or a paper tiger.
None of these boats are sailed at my local club they all sail the clubs pacers and they are to slow I won’t do it. They do sail contenders and paper tiger in South Australia but I don’t know of any musto skiff but that’s not a huge issue.
How hard was the musto to learn? Which would you go?
Thank you and keep up the great videos
Hi Jason, I sailed a contender for a little bit about 10 years ago, we also bought a paper tiger for about $400 when my fiancé was learning to sail years ago, which we still have. Since you’re already sailing on the wire you probably wont struggle too much with the Musto, but you'll swim a bit like i did. The paper tiger, like most cats, is easy to go fast, but since you can already trapeze you might be able to get a faster cat? If i lived in SA i'd get a Taipan 5.7 or Taipan 4.9 and do all the distance races in Goolwa/Milang against Tim Wright and those other guys.
@@TomStuchberySailing-eg9vr I was looking at a f16 cat rig that was for sale.
Even better! I sailed a viper a few times, that’s a great boat
