thank you so much for this. May I make a suggestion? IDK but it looks like you're wasting a bunch of tulle. I know its cheap, but you could always fold it so you don't waste what's cut. you know instead of filing it in halve, fold it so that what your daughter cuts off is enough to be used for the next sock.

Just a tip extra tip: If you don't have/want to glue you can sew the ends vertically together ( right sides together).

Awesome content! May I suggest using 3 inch tulle instead of 6 inch & hot gluing the ends of the elastic.

Where do u purchase your ribbon from? Also, did u fold the ribbon/ tulle over to slide the elastic in? You didn't shoe that part.
Does it matter what inch the ribbon we use per age or is this just something you do? I did 5/8 on my 6yr old and I liked the look. Is it a certain ribbon size per age? Just learning and I've watched alot of ur videos lol
No it does not matter..there is no right or wrong you go with what you like
Andrina..when you said glue the ends do you use the fabric glue or hot glue? I’ve never worked with fabric glue to know how well it holds.
You can use either or I also like to sew the ends together

Great tutorial , I’m super new to sewing and I’m attempting this weekend but I am a bit confused on the “channel” so is it literally just a loop ? is the channel smaller than the elastic ? And do you sew that part after or before sewing the ribbon?
The channel is where the elastic is going is a tunnel..no it can not be smaller then the elastic ..you can sew it before or after the ribbon is up to you

Does the channel have to be the same size of the elastic in order for it to start ruffling as you feed the elastic through with the safety pin? I tried the tutorial but my channel is bigger than my elastic and it’s not ruffling when I feed through the elastic.
Elastic is smaller in the description box I have all the measurements
For the size elastic, 5,6,7 inch, is that “1/5 inch”, “1/6 inch” , “1/7inch size elastic? How long did you cut your pieces of elastic to pull through the tulle?
