Many years ago I worked at Wilson & Associates at their home office in Dallas, Texas. The Principal Architect, Jim Carry, designed the Burj Al Arab. I would be curious to know if Wilson & Associates was given the contract for the addition. A side note, I had the opportunity to see the property's conceptual design through completion. It is definitely on my bucket-lists.
