I recently captured video footage in San Luis Obispo (SLO) and in the surrounding areas, and sharing some of it here. This video touches on the Edna Valley wine region, hiking, beaches, Lopez Lake, Downtown San Luis Obispo, historic neighborhoods, and the Central Coast CA climate. So if you're traveling to SLO, or considering a move to the Central Coast, give this a watch!

Good luck living in SLO. It is expensive here and you need to be a high-profile person like a lawyer, doctor, successful business owner or something like that to live here. I had a friend who was making about $90,000/yr and couldn't afford a home here, especially after he retired. So, he moved to a small town in Washington state to retire and he's doing fine. At the time I was making about $80,000/yr and bough my house in northern SLO but when I did, I barely qualified by the skin of my teeth, and this was a house that was a dilapidated fixer upper. So, like I said, good luck!
