    I love SLO! I moved to SLO from Chicago for college and was lucky to find a local sales career post college. I can't see myself ever leaving...

    Hoping to make the move when I retire from my job here in Washington State. SLO. EXPENSIVE but worth it, for my family and me at least.

      It sure is worth it! When do you plan to retire William?

      2-3 years. Was looking for land to buy and hopefully appreciate in the meantime until ready to build. 5-10 acres in the country/outskirts. Especially like AG and Paso. Templeton and Atascadero also good but less so.
      I’ve been monitoring the pulse of the market daily for 2 years now and flown down to look at properties. Also I visit SLO a couple times a year on vacation and touring
      Lately seems like most cost effective solution though will be to wait until close to move and buy existing property and invest to make it fit our needs as required.

      Yes, that likely will be the most cost effective move as it can be challenging and costly to build in this county. I would love to chat with you to learn more about this upcoming move and help answer any questions you may have. In the interest of privacy, why do you head over to our website and fill out an inquiry for so I can contact you directly.

    I can’t wait to move here! I went to school in Chicago and the horse community and Cali lifestyle is more suited to my interests. Chicago has a big drinking culture and that’s not what I’m interested in.

    SLO is a slice of Heaven for sure however its a hard placed to move to or start over.
    I Worked in SLO and lived in North County for a year, My Job paid garbage and I was not very confident about buying a house there and headed to Phoenix.
    The County in general is made up mostly of People who have lived there all their life. Also many of them are self employed .

    We don’t get much rain. I know that the video is 3 months old but as of 3/19/2023 we have had 30 inches here at the SLO airport.

      Yes, at the time if filming we had not got much rain yet. I’m going to put out a new video soon showing everyone how beautiful SLO is looking with all the rain this year!

      @@sanluisobisporealestate how cool is that, I hope that I didn’t come across as negative. I’m just really excited about our potential recovery from a long drought. Today Lopez is at 95.5 %. Amazing,it’s going to be an huge tourism summer. Again no negativity towards you or your channel. I will say that you were very transparent and honest about SLO its not a nightlife city and not a shopping Mecca,it’s SLO and hopefully always will be.

      Thanks for the feedback John! I appreciate it. I can’t wait for this summer, the rain has been much needed but I’m ready for some sunny beach weather already.

    You forgot to mention the growth in homeless population. It's starting to get really bad in some areas, not to mention the meth problem too. I've heard that some homeless are even attacking people when they refuse to give them money, and just recently, I heard a story from a co-worker who said he was eating at McDonald's and saw some guy right outside the window doing crack. Then he went up to some guy entering the restaurant and offered him some crack in exchange for food. And don't even get me started on the panhandlers. Jeez! You'll occasionally see them at the exit from Costco off of Los Osos Valley Road.

    ☝️😑,, HARD TRUTH: if your not rich, California doesn't offer a laid back lifestyle. Your working 3 jobs and NOT making it. Prostitution is at incredible levels because people are desperate, as is homelessness and drug use. Not saying don't move here..but you need to face reality on certain truths. I personally loved the times I lived or visited California but it is certainly isnt much fun if your battling hours of traffic daily, with no free time or extra money

    • @sanluisobisporealestate
      @sanluisobisporealestate  7 месяцев назад

      Thanks for your comment! And that is what makes San Luis Obispo County such a great part of California. Most of the people who live in our area can enjoy easy access to the beach and hiking trails in their free time without having to wait in your typical California traffic.
