They are a team and it would be beneficial to work together. If one of them has a better chance to win the drivers championship with the support of his team and teamate I don't believe it's wrong to ask of that. This year it may be one guy the next year the other. As the saying goes...you wash my back....

Your comment makes it clear that you have very little if any understanding. Specifically, the "Zero Pod" concept is NOT a failed concept. It's actually a very good concept. Where Mercedes failed was keeping the balance between the floor aero and the suspension. That's where RedBull is failing now.

Anyone that thinks he cant beat lando by the end of the year is delusional. The thing is, it's rare to take both the Drivers and Constructors and McLaren should be focused on that while the opportunity exists. Whatever Lando or Oscar doesn't give a f*k about should not get in the way of The Team taking BOTH when the opportunity is there. Oscar needs be a TEAM Player in the remaining 8 races just as Checo did for Max even if it's not in His Contract to play the Wingman role. If nothing else, out of respect for Lando as the Senior Driver as well as The Team who has a very rare opportunity to claim BOTH. Oscar's realistic chances are "Dark Horse" at best.
@@stephensegal5187 They already gave every prioritize to Lando and he couldn't close the gap against Max.They shouldn't have prioritize in the first place and shouldn't have stole points from Oscar.They took so much points by far and still pressuring him for more.The gap between Lando and Oscar could have been more close if weren't team choose Lando over Oscar.They always prioritized Lando in pit strategy.This guy isn't Perez or Bottas.They were agreeably slow and weren't promising like Max and Lewis.Oscar not a driver like that.Thats why we discussing it in the first place.If media and team keeps presure and try to put him in second driver position,that time you will see how good he is in another team.Toto could take him if Max doesn't participate.2025 will be McLaren year but 2026 regulations will come.We can't guess who will be fastest after regulation.Norris lost it long ago by himself and stealling Oscar's points,podiums,wins won't solve anything.That can only cost them Oscar.
