      No one does.
We and only we get to make our own manuals. You must find your own purpose and meaning in life.

I guess being an inventor is awesome. Too bad not all of us have the chance to do this for a living :)
All the inventions he mentions seem awesome, but not all people in power wish the good of ALL humans. Most want to improve the life of just a subclass restricted to family and close friends, nation, race, etc... It is nice to hear that rich people like Bill Gates use their money for something good, not only to make more money.
The use of nuclear waste to power the planet is an interesting idea... I would like to hear something like that develop in the future.

Seems to overlook that language for communication & collaboration, economic systems for trade & opportunity, and government (formal/informal) leading to social norms, safety & security, have done as much or more to enable humans to thrive than technology. But when you're a technologist you hype technology, of course. And it continues to amaze me that people continue to call FB, Uber, Airbnb etc "technology companies". They are not. They are data companies. And "robots can only do what we teach them to do." ??? Seriously? Has he never heard of neural networks and unsupervised learning?

Quality of life solutions that he says we don't have: Facebook and social media, sense of connection in the internet itself, VIAGRA and sexual performance drugs, COME TF ON, how does this guy discount this shit? And who the hell is he asking about happiness? I LOVE technology and am super happy almost exclusively because of the technology! Technology is greater than this guy feels it is.

AI will help me create over billion dollars of wealth through real time tradings; hedge funds etc.. will use it to purchase entire countries with rainforests such as Borneo , madagascar etc..and will pass strict laws against deforestation or habitat destruction.. no more animals or plants should go extinct.. will make these biosphere reserves private property and will preserve them for eternity.. the people deriving income from exploiting these natural biosphere reserves.. will be directed towards alternate sustainable way of making money.. I will sponsor them to get educated..so they can use their intellectual capital to earn money..and not involved in wildlife poaching, trafficking, felling rainforests to grow palm plantation and endanger native Orang Utan population etc..

17:39 When he is talking about how nobody should have an advantage on the network. He says we don't get to decide what he does, but when he says he doesn't get to decide what we do he's lying. Watch his body language, how he touches his face. Not surprising considering he's one of the top hackers, still very concerning.
