- A walk showing the sand pathway from Horseshoe Bay to Warwick Long Bay heading east.
This is the more dangerous path along the rocks.
There is a much safer path to walk but lacks the view along the route.
It will get you to Warwick Long Bay just the same.
Heh heh -- this summer (July 2018), My wife and I took the same walk (some "blazing") but started at Long Bay and ended at horseshoe. We did that for we wanted to see the other beaches, then pick up transportation at long bay, It's neat, you can hear the kiskadees (the yellow birds with the dark beaks( in the the background on your video!

How long does it take to get to long bay
Very helpful video. I will be going to Bermuda the end of October and hope to walk this trail. Should I bring bug spray? Is the sand on the beach soft or firm for walking?
Hello Wanda Rood, Thanks for watching and commenting! Bug spray is not a necessity especially due to the temperature cooling down a little. The weather is still humid right now so there may still be a few bugs so I would take some spray just in case. Here in Bermuda the sand on the beach is fairly soft but the sand can be firm by the waterside where the waves are washing up. The waves are not that big so walking along the shore is normally safe but you still should take caution to be safe. The sand on the trail way is firmer than the beach in most cases though. Real time does that mean how long the video was ? I was just there makes me mad i didn't do that when i could guess i got to get back there lol i want to so bad for real
I missed going to longbay cuz i didnt know where it was and thought i had to take transportation ugh thanks for this video
Hello Kelly, Feel free to come on back to beautiful Bermuda when you get a chance. I am glad to see that you liked it when you were here.The time you see in the video is roughly the time it will take you to walk between the two beaches if you walked at the same pace as I did. There is also a part 2 to it as well!As I mentioned you can look around using the arrows on a pc or if using a phone you can move the phone around to change the view.Sorry that you missed out on Warwick Long Bay as it is really nice as well. There was a Canada Day celebration down there yesterday too! Long Bay is not as nice for swimming if you are a beginner as the bottom drops off fairly quickly after you get into the water which can be a bit unsettling for those who can't swim. Also there is no Lifeguard down at Long Bay.Other than that Long Bay is a nice beach to visit with Jobson's Cove, Stonehole Bay and Chaplin Bay right next door heading towards Horseshoe Bay on the sand pathway.I hope that the information can be a help to you.
