question, when you design jewelry, does the skeleton/casting have certain parameters to follow? or can you do whatever as long as the render looks correct? they print these things though right? so theyd need to be perfect im assuming .. thanks in advance
You should definitely take care to design the pieces according to what is logical in terms of manufacture, ie not too thin walls, etc. But in terms of whether the ring would be printed as is, that depends on your finishing techniques, for high jewellery you will want to make this ring in two parts - shank and upper settings - so that you can clean it well and assemble and finish. Always speak to your goldsmith when you are designing, so you know how the piece will be finished.
Thank you so much for the eternity ring tutorial! I love your Essential Guide series 💓
❤️ We trust you will make beautiful designs

I don't know why you hide the mouse cursor.
Sorry about that, it was unintentional. We forgot to switch it on in the recorder - novices !
Where can i download the add on for the ring shapes?
The plugin we used for the stone shape is called Grasshopper Gold, available on Food4Rhino for free. But fo the rest it was all done in Rhino's tools
