I have a suggestion for you two. Have you ever listened to the band, Heilung(healing in ancient Germanic)? Heilung is an experimental folk music band made up of members from Denmark, Norway, and Germany. Their music is based on texts and runic inscriptions from Germanic peoples of the Iron and Viking Age. They don't play "traditional" instruments, they make their own primitive instruments from bones, antlers, skin drums and bits of metal. They are a mix of tribal, primitive music and are Metal as well. Check out their song, Anoana.
