the thought of dying alone, nobody around, you're in pain and you know your soulmate's in pain for however long it takes to die. there's no more fun times together with your soulmate, ever. you wonder when you've last seen your soulmate - are they as sad and lonely as you, dying alone with nobody to comfort them? nobody is coming to find either of you, and even if they did, this is a death game and they'd show no mercy. you wait for your demise, for that final blow to end you and your soulmate's pain. no matter how many times you say "it's okay." to yourself, this is the one where you're dying. dying, never to see each other again.
