Back in the early days, you could ram a heavy tank in one of the ground strike missions with your reserve/1.0 biplanes and get 600 points, but crashing the plane into tanks does not work, people try and do it all the time and they only die and the tanks keep rolling
I can confirm it does not work in arcade.
The kamakazi one only works with Japanese planes
And on light skinned targets
No, it works with any plane. You just have to ram DIRECTLY into them, not around them. If you miss even by a centimeter, game won’t count any damage.

They have to be open topped and that's not a kamikaze kill that's a bomb kill that you don't escape

@@WhyyouSodesperate planes themselves don't do that much damage. The reason they did so much damage was they'd fit explosives inside the aircraft so it would explode when it impacted the ship. Basically making them guided bombs.

You can actually get an aircraft kill with flares as well, I've actually gotten it in sim once before! And another time in sim with the f14b is just showed the rocket symbol as in "player 1 (used something to kill and it showed the rocket symbol) player 2" but it didn't even say flares and i checked the replay too, very cool.
Using ground missiles to kill a whole bunch of aerial targets in Assault Air Arcade is something that ebfuriates someone every once in a while.
The last one works on both war thunder and enlisted

The last one is a tricky one, as gijan has put out statement that they’ll “never make it a thing” cuz they don’t want people to have that mentality, and cuz it’s a little unbalanced. However, as u saw, it clearly kill the truck. I think this is the same mechanic as tank on tank ramming, so it’ll only work on vehicles of similar weigh, and so u can’t hurt ships and most tanks.
Remember, when you run out of ammo, you become the ammo

myth 4 is a fact that many SB Su-25 player use Vikhr to shoot down people unaware and flaring like mad the SACLOS guided missile

That last one only really works on spaas that have next to no armor so it's best to bring a bomb any size and drop it a second before contact with a .5 second fuze
The last one is an legit last hope tactic in case your out of ammo and gun blocks and you wont make it back to base its used often
It used to be easier to kamikaze tanks, but they nerf it years ago
In squadron battles, we always use AGM-65s for taking out helicopters because they aren’t affected by IRCM.
The Kamikaze works only on light armor, medium armor hardly gets damaged from it
They did originally let you Kamikaze into ground vehicles and then stopped people from doing for a long time...glad to see they put it back in
I’ve used AGMs to kill camping helicopters before. Surprisingly useful since the missile is discreet after initial ignition

Ive used the AGMs on the A10 to get 2 kills in ARB, they either have to be moving really slow and not manoeuvring, or they have to be moving towards you and not manoeuvring
I've only seen the kamakaze work once.
It was in a recent video by Bo Time Gaming. He was flying in a Pe-8 and was doing a low pass that got too low. He crashed on top of his squad mate in an ASU-57, which killed his squad mate too.
The SU-25's upward flares gave me a kill when I was spamming them in gun range! 😂
In 1991 a F15E Strike Eagle dropped a 2000 lbs GBU (Laser guided bomb) on an Iraq Mi-24 Hind that was taking off after dropping troops off, the Strike Eagle was sent to support US Special Forces that were in contact. This was during the 1991 invasion of Iraq.

Along with other vehicle collisions damaging enemies, you can damage ships by ramming into them.
Not sure if it's still a thing or not but there used to be an achievement where you had to get a aerial kill by dropping a bomb from your plane. I got it randomly one day by complete accident.

Flares are amazing against battleships at least in the last patch
Kamakazi used to do a lot more damage. Now it relys on you moving the tank enough when you hit it to damage the crew. That being said, my f104 is a big missile, and that t72 is just another target
Fun fact, you can kill enemies with some grenades. I was able to kill a plane this way

I'd imagine the explosion needed to destroy a plane would be different from a tank. You can shotgun and frag a plane with a proximity fuze but a tank needs a shape charge

They must have gotten rid of hull breaking, because i swear "no armor best armor" meta is bs and would never be realistic
Regarding the last point, I, without bombs and bullets, killed the panther D in this way. It’s difficult because you have to get exactly into the center of the tank without moving a centimeter, preferably with a view from the cockpit

And the use of an air to ground missile to take out an airborne target was demonstrated in real life when the Israeli Air Force took out a Cessna flying in from Lebanon with an AGM-65 Maverick fired from a helicopter.
Using the agm is great for the air mode that gives you boosters
